Hi Newb. Very sorry he didn't get at least some benefit from the chemo. That's a hell of a treatment to go through. As much as I hate what it did to me it did make my tumors smaller which gave me a little more breathing room to get started on CCO. I won't say don't worry, because this is your dad so of course you worry. Instead I'll say have confidence in the protocol that Cajun used to treat colon and liver cancer together.
1) I assume you mean he had colostomy. That doesn't change effectiveness of suppositories. They are absorbed through mucosal membranes of rectum into capillaries better than any other delivery method including for liver. You will want to push the capsules in deeper than normal, about two knuckles in to reach upper rectal vein that goes to portal vein that goes to liver.
2) Focus on the liver, so use coconut oil. Lung tumors are easier to reach because all blood flows through lungs every cycle. So if you treat liver you are also treating lungs. Even if that weren't the case I'd say treat the liver first.
3) RE treats: Sugar feeds cancer cells, and so does white flour. Use alternative sweetener like stevia and if you need to keep weight up rely on oils and fats and use whole grains (as much as you can switch with white flour and still have him eat it. I like oatmeal and barley flour.) FYI - CCO in edibles will go straight to liver, but not as much as with suppositories plus you lose more terpenes through stomach.
When you say 15 grams, do you mean oil or herb? If it's 15 g oil made from 8%:4% herb that's about 250 mg/day which should slow or stop tumor growth until you have enough to increase doses toward 1 gr/day. Considering tumors are actively growing now I'd like to see you find another source so you can increase to 500-600 mg/day sooner. I'd also like to see the THC% higher, at least double digits and closer to 20%. The CBD is good and will help repair chemo damage/brain function as well as fight cancer. But in this case THC is the cannabinoid that will do most of the work. Do what you can to find some to get you through the next 9 weeks. PM me if you need more options.
The ratios: Starting dose is 1:40; 1 part CCO to 40 parts carrier oil. Carrier oil is 3:1 coconut oil:liquid sunflower lecithin (has to be liquid, sunflower preferred). So 3-way ratio is 1
10. That will make 00 capsules at about 20 mg each. Give 5 doses per day (100 mg/day) for 4 days, then increase strength to 1:20 (1:15:5) for 4 days, then 1:10 (1
4) or 2:20 (2:15:5) for 4 days, then 1:5 (1
2) or 4:20 (4:15:5), and finally 6:20 (6:15:5, = 200 mg/capsule = 1 gr/day). You can do smaller increases or spend longer at each dose, but do your best to get to 200 mg/day as quickly as possible.
I know you've been around here a while, but I want to remind you use the supplements listed in 1st post. Working with lower doses you need to make every drop count.
edit: A little math help: In the ratios above use ml if measuring with syringe or grams if measuring by weight. To start you will need:
20+ capsules @ 20 mg each = 1 ml CCO + 30 ml coconut oil + 10 ml, except that's over 40 capsules, so instead use .5 ml CCO + 15 ml coconut oil = 5 ml lecithin and a whole lot of mixing, at least 10 minutes, chill overnight, mix again and then fill 20-22 capsules. (on the other hand these small dose caps can be used orally for pain, etc., so not a waste to have 40.)
Here's a table. Don't know why I didn't do it this way to begin with.
