700W LED - Auto Topping Grow - 2 Plants

Good day all id like to share the progress of the 2 subjects which will take the place of the big girls.3 weeks old today.only been giving water no feed yet;) there enjoying life.here is dutch passion think big auto

Il give these 2 young autos till 4 weeks of life if gna top .then the decision is down to all my fellow followers u fine growing people.topped or untopped u decide? Il give it 7 days and go with the most wanted;) happy growing every1;)

As i have never topped then i cannot give you an answer. I would like to do a side by side run and see which yields more that way i would know which yields more and if i would do it in the future. Would need to be the same breed of seed and hope that their pheno is similar or the same.
 
Glasgrow u would enjoy a topped plant.maybe next 2 plants il try ur option.but think big and polar bear auto need the same treatment as i wna see who is stronger genetic.my money is on the dutch passion.but mephisto genetics are ment to also be solid.time will tell mate;)
 
So wednesday here again in the uk big girls 10 and a half weeks old.buds are coming in fast;) but first here my 2 solo cup autos.lstd there stem.were getting abit lanky;)

Girls are filling in nicely. Auto's sure have come along ways. Just my little 2 cents, I like to only fill my start pots up to like 2/3 full when I throw in my sprouts, gives me the option to do alittle back filling if the youngings get leggy. Impressive looking auto you got growing on.

My autos were very slow starters and seen as i was battling with the elements (outdoor guerilla grow) then i made the decision not to top. It would have increased harvest time by another week, and i was 5 weeks+ or so from seed before i could consider topping. 4-5 nodes at that point is too long whereas if they had been there at 2-3 weeks then perhaps i would have topped.

Even leaving my last 5 plants out till today i lost a lot of them to budrot. Besides the area that they were in was inadequate with not enough sun. Will get something from them but it wont be a lot. As the other half says you live and learn. Next year (if i do grow again) will be better still.

If i could then i would but i cant. Several reasons: i have a 3 year old son here with me and the other half, a 10 year old that visits every 2nd weekend; both sets of parents wouldnt approve; too risky where i live with it possibly being smelt by neighbours; not enough room; other half wouldnt allow me to grow indoors. Perhaps one day when the kids have grown up and have more room and parents arent around then i would grow indoors. If i was by myself and had no kids then i would invest in a tent with added extras to keep smell down and leccy bills low. These are the reasons i grow outdoors and grow 1 or 2 on the balcony to at least cover costs in the event that an outdoor grow goes wrong. Even next year i may not be allowed to grow 1 or 2 on the balcony so planning for next year is imperative. Also the other half isnt too keen on drying stuff here even though it only takes a week or so.
