Thanka mate.im giving them 12 weeks.just been looking at automazar from my last run that i topped at 3rs node and let grow.she was fuzzing away at 6 weeks of age .but my automazar this run 6 week today not even preflowers.so i think topping followed by lst defo adds time to harvest;) next run iv got a whole new plan to get my autos to finish on there due date;) i like new adventures;)

My last automazar i gave 12 weeks .and northern light blue auto info says it should be done around 10 weeks seed to harvest.but im gna take mine longer than that she is not flowering yet either.so gna be a big girl;)

I just commented in another journal a few days ago that, I believe, all of the breeder estimates are aggressively early in terms of harvest times. My belief is that they're listing the shortest amount of time the buds can be "commercially ready" when grown under optimal conditions.

Even if we grow under optimal conditions, most of the commercial growers are focused on weights and time schedules, while we tend to me more focused on quality. I don't think I've ever finished a harvest within the breeder's estimated time! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yeah, 2 weeks from the time they break soil. I have an Super Auto Sativa from Big Buddha running right now. I topped it on day 13, on day 15 started to see the first signs and today is day 17 and it has many unmistakable white hairs.
I guess topping those are a no no cuz they don't have enough time to recover. How do I find out how long my auto will veg. I was thinking of topping her but if she starts flowering at 14 days I cant.

No auto should start to flower at day 14 of age.it has alot more veg to do before flower. They dont show sex till about day 21. Most autos. So will defo not be the start of flower .if it is.then there is something wrong;)

Hi Beast,

I would guess what I am referring to would be showing sex. These pics are the super auto sativa. This one is running smaller than usual at 17 day but you can see, between the tops near the scar where I topped her, the little white hairs on each side. I have only had one plant go over 21 days to show sex.
So this stage is showing sex, and preflower comes after the stretch...is that correct? I never really knew what was considered the start of preflower. I usually cut testers from each plant 2-3 times to fine tune my harvests.

Preflower is when they throw out the white hairs in numbers.thats the start of flower.with an auto ul first see preflowers then u will.see it stretch.when stretch is over then flower really begins;)
