480W & 720W LED Grow - Land of Clovers

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

28-30 inches in dirt and 32 inches in the dome until the roots get going. i need to start my journal. couple of them are growing so much that its at 26 inches. Can clones stretch much ? I figure they can if they are reaching for the light but at those heights I did not think they would

some of it depends on strain also, with indica's having tighter nodes than sativas.

this is why I like my infrared thermometer, which has been on sale at Harbor Freight for $28 lately.

I can drop the light until I get a leaf or canopy temp of 78, and I know I'm in the zone.

I have been using mike's lights for some time now. I have used everything from the 180 clear up to the 600. All the units perform amazingly well considering the reputation most LED units have. Grow Led Hydro is the name, Mike is the man! Not only are the lights quality, the service is exceptional as well. I have put Mike through hell with returns, and the likes, and he has yet to upset me in any way.

Appreciate the business, transparency, honesty, and quality.

my 300w was 34' for a long time with the like Jack Herer didnt get any stretch, i am amazed. allot of the stretch come from real cold night temps most times. i am about to fire up the other 300w on the jacks today, their almost ready to flip. now the casey jones have more spaced out node because of it getting colder when the lights are out i think? i know allot of it still has to do with the sativa pattern but i always grow allot of sativa hybrids. need to get me a indica next

Ill tell you guys what the Xtreme Tea makes my plants go crazy after feeding, they love it so much!! i will say its truly some great stuff from the few weeks ive been using it. plants are sexy as hell, i feed them yesterday and all the leaves are sticking up in the air happy as hell.

Looking forward to when they make the tea available to the public. I have found both Mykos and Azos to be effective products. Definitely building better root systems.

To add to the heating discussion...I am finding that the ceramic emitters for reptiles are raising my temps by at least 10 degrees using 125 watts.

Good call Two Tokes.

Check your local pet store irish! They would be in the reptile section, and or snakes, spiders, wherever.

They are ceramic heaters that plug into a light socket.

Check wattage as well.

I'm using the white ceramic emitters that give off no light. Checked and the ones I am using are 150W. They are connected to a thermostat so they kick on and off as needed. It has also helped my lights on temperatures which were often down to 70 on cold nights. Now my temps are around 76-78. Talking plural because I have an emitter for each grow space.

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

ive been spreading the word about led teck, mainly mikes lights because i think their the best, the bad thing is leds have a very bad name and certain companys made some bad led lights and it made allot of people think leds wont flower. even though i have the pics to prove it, i wanted to know id some of these GLH light owners could leave a review on my thread right here for the to read? just give your honest opinion on them so others can know more about how mikes customers feel about his lights thanks guys.:thumb:

Been using the 300 Spectra lights from Mike for about 2 weeks now my clones are loving them

bro i am all over that! how big is ur room that gets raised 10F from the light? shit their such low watts i can run more then 1. i cant rep you any more but when i can i will. tomorrow i am going to the pet store for sure. ive seen the white ones and the black ones on the web not sure what the difference is? ill just get the bigger watts one because when its lights off my temps drop hard core and it sucks running a 1,500w heater. this is just brilliant!! :thumb:

guys please +rep him for me!!

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

that's very efficient TT.

Do you think it would work in one of my tents with the total air volume being exchanged at least 1-2x per minute?

Do you reduce or shut down your exhaust fan during lights out?

good question. its sucks because i have to shut down my fans in lights off to keep it warm. i was reading a review that the 150w raise a 8x10 room 10F, so our small tents should be ok i would think? my bigger room might need more but whatever. the saved money each money will more them make up for it.

i was just about to ask the same question though.lol

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

That is a great idea... I tried to +rep, but have to spread it around... Hub was just saying he thought it was to chilly upstairs at lights on...

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers

about this heater bulb ---- do they emit infarred waves --- isnt this what you do for one of those flowering techniques where you can leave the lights on longer but expose the plants to infarred 20 minutes after the lights go out and it tricks them into thinking the night was longer than it was. (going by memory)
