Girls riding the merry go round 82f yesterday from 34f that morning temp is 84f from 46f this morning outside temps . My friend from safer brand DE stopped the carpenter ants within a foot of where they entered. Surely the spider mites get taken out by the de when the ants never make it out of the powder. Found out the dawn keeps the fungus gnats away from the out building but not the carpenter ants they just keep trucking.
Mama Candy’s ppm 721 was 872 two days ago ph dropped to 5.5 adjusted to 5.8 . Heater set @ 65f and the a/c set @ 80f , turned the dehumidifier off. Average rh is 60% perfect for clones and mama doesn’t mind either.
Have one more lower and one in the middle branch to take for clones then all the rest are uppers , as we’ve learned from @InTheShed perpetual thread how clones work for us . No root porn yet on these cloner girls and the bubbling water is 1/2” away from the clone girls. Have two new in the cloner , no clone guard added . Testing. I made clones in the solo cup with perlite and just water before , all successfully rooted. Time for a pic .
Mama Candy looks a little rough, I’m going to stay with the bigger light pushing for more lower branches . Maybe lst or super crop ? I’ve been stuffing the big fans to help the bottoms.

I'd take off those big fans. Worst that happens is the plant puts out more end growth to make up for it...more clones!

Has been so long since I had another mother, thanks because I didn’t remember to take those big fans , plenty roots about softball size .Good thing you're keeping the indoor temps under control...outside is the wild wild west!

I added pro-tekt in this batch , my MSA finally got here so mama gets the rest of the pro-tekt . Started thinking about the hollow stalks in the cloner and remembered the filler it makes in the stalk and does it a make better uptake for the nutrients ?

Mama Candy has been busy since I took those 8 massive fan leaves , took 16 more fans . This girl is 22” tall, topped everything above the mid section . She at 300 ppm , on target for tomorrow’s change . Ph 6.0 , water temp 68.1 that temp ought to slow her a tad . She’s been topped off every day with 3/8 gallon of ro .
The girls in the cloner are still alive, I didn’t see the roots coming out the side of the rocket

it’s been a few days wasn’t feeling to good . I was smoking with the girls and I’m still paying for it . Nothing like some good caps of decarbed rosin . I’ve been trying to catch up but 90-135 hits a day , keep it up means some great things are going on .
Cloner girls are still poking out the sides of the rockwool no roots in the water yet . I checked the canopy temp appears to be fine .
Mama Candy looks great , she’s at 24”. Moved the light up 5” to 32”s above the canopy. The ph was right on 5.8 bouncing back and forth to 5.7 so excellence is working . She definitely was hungry. Fresh bucket Monday, solids started at 963 ppm , yesterday 751 ppm and today 630 ppm . I pull big fan leaves daily.

Morning InTheShed I bought that one in early 2020 for $12.95 on the zon , 20.99 now . Still not bad price I like it for the canopy temps plus the cat goes wild when he sees that dot . I didn’t let the cat and the Australian shepherd mix in the shop no more . Cat attacks the girls like a Christmas tree and piper sticks her head into the grow knocking them over .Everything that's supposed to be green is green! If you lived here it wouldn’t make any difference on the light bill. Can use the same amount of electricity and one month it’s $265 then next , same kilowatt is $400 , this is when i wished I went through with the solar panels .
Fixing to head out to the grow and will check back shortly.
Thanks WH! We're on gas heat and I know the doors leak a lot of air, not to mention the flue. I keep thinking about doing solar but figuring out which way to go is too complicated for me. Lease, buy, different companies, batteries, rebates...more than I can focus on.

Mama Candy made a change again the ppm dropped to 419 from 630 ppm and she’s smelling the place up . Ph goes to 6.2 adjusted to 5.8 and water temp is 71.7 f .
Girls in the cloner drooping, humidifier ran out of water yesterday and stupid here didn’t fill it . I know better when the north wind is clearing everything out of the yard humidifier needs to run . I’ve got the humidifier sitting on top of madea (dehumidifier) while the inkbird does it’s job . Humidity was 38% and rising.

Mama Candy last name Kush just keeps giving. 8 clones cut off Thursday and I can’t tell it was done . I’ll change her out tomorrow she’s not getting to make it till Monday, probably needs today so I’ll mix the nutrients now and be ready . The ppm is 241 ppm was 322 ppm yesterday, the ph was 6.1 but falling to 5.7 . Here’s a pic of Mama Candy
On to her offspring in the cloner , at least the low humidity didn’t hurt them . Roots hit the water . Monday I’ll move them to 5 gallon buckets with the six inch lids . Yesterday was three weeks in the cloner and roots length is 5”s which is perfect for the move . Here’s a pic

Mama Candy got a little light in color but at 174 ppm and 5.6 ph she was letting me enough is enough. The fresh bucket 894 ppm and the adjusted ph to 5.8 ought to make her happy. Temperature was 66.7f a little low it doesn’t appear to bother her.
Cloner no problem will deal with it tomorrow.
Remember I bought the gun for shatter in GT’s oil thread . I use to hang the indoor/outdoor thermometer at canopy level till I got me one , easy enough.Congrats on the roots, and excellent use of the meat thermometer!

Freezing temps here to stay I guess, the bucket is staying around 67f compared to 16-19 of 71-73f . Was outdoor temperature of 27f this morning unfortunately. Humidity fell into low 30s so humidifier was empty this morning but the rh was hanging around 47% and back on the rise . I’m using electric heat instead of a oil filled radiator which would be a big help.
I’ve done a lot of reading and gwe says max temp of 72f but I read further and doesn’t recommend 67-68f till last two weeks of flower , any other suggestions are very welcome here .
Cloner still holding at 78f time to set the aquarium heater at 72f with all the roots exploding and tangling into each other. I have to put moving till tomorrow because I don’t have any buckets ready yet . As soon as I get back from town I’ll make them up for in the morning.
