that just means the fun is about to begin! I'm pretty sure pistils only last so long trying to catch pollen before they fail, turn red, and get replaced with a new cluster of calyxes and pistils. They also do that when they've been . . . you know . . . but we wont speak of that Looking nice and healthy, cant wait to see em swell.

As for the religion and politics speak, gonna have to sit on the sidelines here guys. I'm pretty sure my username rubs some people the wrong way already (no pun intended ). But it is your journal after all, so express away man!

Those look incredible man. Red hairs already! I didn't start getting them my first grow till the buds were much older. I'm sure some of that is strain specific. But wow, those are going to be great. So frosty already!

The oldest is 5 weeks into a 10 week bloom cycle so just at the halfway point now. I'll post up some pics when lights on.

I also have a checkered past. I've spent 113 days of my life in jail for parole violations in my youth because I wouldn't stop smoking weed so I kept giving hot urines till they banged me. Lol. It was one of the most interesting experiences of my life. I've been to four rehabs. Also way in the past. I'm 55 and all that garbage is WAY in the rearview. I am also a professional musician. I play bass. You should see the looks on people's faces when they see the bass player on stage playing in his wheelchair. They don't see that often. Lmao. So a little background on me. I wouldn't trade any of it. All of that made me who I am and I'm pretty comfortable with that.

It's the choices we make that define who we are and whether we succeed or fail. Learning from experience is the best teacher for that. I just can't help but feel my life would have turned out very differently if I had been smart enough to not steal from others to begin with. That's why they call it the school of hard knocks I suppose... and I have quite a few knocks.

I see your point of view... for me though it's an opportunity to learn. Do it right and you can repeat that again as you like... do it wrong and you should probably change something in the future/present. Everyone has a different idea of happiness... that is what makes America so great, the opportunity to pursue that idea. I hate to lose our freedom to a bunch of Nazi partiers and socialists who want to use the government as a career opportunity.

Reddening of the hairs on some of the older buds is still progressing despite my attempts to stop it. Could be light to close, nutes, pot too small, strain or all of the above I dunno but I did play with the nutes more than I like making adjustments and the plants stretched more than expected during the first few weeks... have to bud them even sooner next round I just got veg crazy I guess. They were only about 8" tall when I flipped them

The oldest are exactly 5 weeks from flip today... just checked.

Need to add some mylar but I'll have to wait til I get the growfloor down... hating this plastic and cardboard I have now.

You flipped them when they were 8" tall? Why would you do that? Do you have super limited vertical space? I thought that plant was like three or four feet tall. (Hard to tell in the pic I guess?)

The tallest is about 36" from soil level... and yea I flipped them at 8" tall lol. Got some more I was going to try at about 5" tall and a lot less root on them... they just got flipped today.

Something is getting better... this bud has more than doubled in size in the last couple days.
