Have you used the Grove bags before? It's my first time and when I talked with them they said to expand the bottom and stand them upright, with headroom/ air above. Who knows if it makes a difference ha.

Yes, Tim. This is my second time using them. Mine don't expand at the bottom (any more than at the top), but yeah, you don't want to fill them to the brim.
