420 Tries Again! 4x4 RDWC 600W Switchable HID & 260W Actual LED

That’ll work for sure! I’m just sick of looking at the tinfoil I used lol. I need it to be cleaner. Going to get the pails and a couple other things from the hydro store after work. Then home to have a cold beer and do some garden work.
Sounds like an awesome evening.

Just got back from the hydro store. I could spend all day in there talking to the guy. Awesome place. I picked up 3 black buckets, Enzymes Komplete 500ml and Grotek Cali Max 1L. I talked to him about the Lucas formula and he encouraged me to go for it! He also hooked me up with some magazines and pointed out a few good articles. Gunna start working on the garden in a few minutes!

I love the set up. i really want to try the rdwc. after i master coco i think i'll give it a go. but was pretty grossed out by the slime in my bubblers today when i changed the water lmao...

I'm really curious about the lucas formula. i've read a lot of good things about it but also some things that keep me from wanting to do it. I love the GH line up, just trying to figure out what's actually useful, and what not might be worth it.

The plants are beautiful and bushy i can't wait to see the buds. Have you figured out the discoloring?
I'm fortunate to have a great hydro store near me too. Good to support local business, but it's expensive sometimes. Lol
Aint that the truth. Fortunately this one isn't crazy expensive. The guys that work there seem to know their shit as well. I just finished building the new garden and placed the plants back in! Lets see how they react. No more light getting to the roots should definitely help.

Black buckets for the win!! This should help out so much! Was a pain in the ass to drain 22 gallons, re drill new buckets etc, then re fill 22 gallons lol. Anyways, lesson learned and things are back on track.

Thanks! I hope so :) Well find out soon enough. I phd some and introduced the enzymes to clean up the roots. Feeding will come in the next day or so.

Looks good buddy, the hard work should pay off many times over and the black buckets just look sweet lol. I also have a really good and knowledgeable local shop that I depend on for alot. It's nice to know they are there when you need them that's for sure.
Thanks! I agree, looks much better haha. It really is nice to know there’s a local shop. They’re awesome to talk to and just be in. I love looking at all the stuff. I could spend so much money in a place like that. I try and have a list and get in and out quick lol.

I moved the LEDs to allow more MH through. They were kind of blocking it before, plus they look cool now haha. Lots of light penetration. I’m really hoping the plant on the right kicks it into gear soon. It’s lagging behind quite a lot. Hopefully the bucket change and fresh nutes help it along. Here’s a couple picks. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday! Daytona 500 is on!

I’m going to try my best to kinda leave things alone now and just worry about feeding/res health. Unless the plants ask for something that is. I enjoy tinkering but I know the plants do not lol. Patience patience patience I have to keep telling myself. It’s hard though!!!

It's hard when they don't need you to do anything, my autos are getting to the point to where I can start to train them and I am excited. I like photos more for yeild and potency but honestly autos are way more fun to grow. The explosive growth is fun and I love experimenting with topping and training them to keep me busy so I don't mess with my photos too much lol. But your tent is looking great buddy, I don't think they even know you have been messing with them lol

I was going to try autos this run but the seeds I got from a breeder that shall remain unnamed didnt germ. Pissed me right off so I went back to my photos

Damn that sucks, did you try emailing them? Sometimes they will replace them.
I did try. No response. Very frustrating. They were my first ever purchased seeds as well lol. Ah well, Ill sticks with the seeds I have from over the years. I have hundreds thankfully.

Hey budz! Glad to see things are going well in here and that you got through your algea/slime issue. Always nice to be that close to a hydro store, closest to me is about 3 hours any direction so I normally order online from one of them if I need something, ships fast.

I see you're trying out the lucas formula. I remember reading up on it back when I was trying out hempy buckets and I thought about trying it but never did. Since then I had kind of forgotten about it since I have majority of the GH Flora lineup lol I might have to try it sometime as a comparison, feed a few the lucas formula and the other few my regular feed. Interested to see how it works for you nonetheless and maybe I will go for it.

Plants are looking strong and mighty, keep up the good work. If you're looking to maximize your light penetration, lower that MH light down some more, the plants will thank you with tight new growth :) That is of course unless heat is an issue at the canopy.
