420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By HashGirl

Looking much better. You can keep pulling the top down as it grows and gets used to the pull of the pipe cleaner over the coming days to get it closer to the pot rim.

I still think you need to tighten the bottom restraint more. You want the bottom of the stalk firmly anchored to the pot side so when you pull on the top there is no movement down below.

I like to place the lower one first so when I do the uppers they are pulling against the anchored lower tie in opposite directions.

Thank you, Azi.

Every time I try to clip the pipe cleaner to the pot more tightly, it loosens once I've added the clip but I will try again.

Maybe hold it in place with one hand and wrap it around the clip with the other. I use string for mine, but same principle.

I seem to find myself going through the site saying "What Azimuth said"!

Tie the pipe cleaner to the handle of the binder clip rather than using the clip to hold it. The handles are better used for tying things to, and the clip is just there to hold it to the pot.

Okay. I will try again.

Thanks.

Here is the updated info on the GSCs along with the photos of them. The lowers have caught up to the uppers on the 3 I topped so what should I be doing now?

Looking good in there @HashGirl :thumb: :passitleft:

One thing I noticed is you seem to have a pest problem :thedoubletake::hmmmm: whether aphids or mites, somethings eating your girls :sorry:

Thanks, Mocha. I guess I need to spray with Safer's again. I kinda forgot about it for the past few days.

Nice HashGirl! :circle-of-love: HAPPY FATHERS DAY:circle-of-love:

Stone. I thought you knew I was a girl. I mean "girl" is part of my username so I guess I assumed you would know I was a girl and therefore, not a father. And, not that it really matters but I'm not a mother either. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I hate giving bad news :lot-o-toke: but you're welcome :passitleft:...and ya, the girl in Hashgirl gives it away

But you have or had a father and can hopefully at least reflect on good memories or get together with. :circle-of-love:

Yes, I can reflect on that. I was trying to be funny. Obviously, that didn't work. :thedoubletake:

I did talk to my dad yesterday and I had dinner with him on Friday and gave him a butter tart (his favourite) and this table runner I knitted for him:

I sprayed the girls with Safer's this morning and readjusted the LSTing on all of them. I also gave them a little water each. They don't look very happy today.

In other news, my husband (Felonious Punk) emptied out all the cloth pots and got them ready for me to prepare for the final transplant.

However, I'm scheduled for a cortisone shot tomorrow for my knee and since I've never had one before, I don't know how much I'll be able to do initially. I read online that people have increased inflammation for about 48 hours so I'm hoping to prepare the 5 gallon pots once I can stand again without pain (hopefully by the end of the week).

Cool & not to early to crash the party.

Looking interesting, I always did enjoy training the plants.

I would take some of the largest fans off on the GSC 1. That will make it easier for the lowers to get light, make it easier to spray for the pests that Mocha mentioned, and will force the plant to do some growing of new fans on the lower nodes.
The lowers have caught up to the uppers on the 3 I topped so what should I be doing now?
If you have the top two nodes absolutely horizontal, then when the lowers catch up you just let all the nodes grow up together. That way the canopy will be pretty even when you flip.
this table runner I knitted for him:
:bravo: I'm sure he loved it!
hopefully by the end of the week
:goodluck:
