Spaced about posting these on Tues. Today was another rough one. Physically and mentally spent this evening. Simply trying to keep my head up and overall keep it together. That is part of this life I suppose. One of the many reasons we have this place and our precious crops to be able to cultivate our own medicine. Tonight more than ever as my heart aches and tears are welling up, I am thankful for this community and helping me over the years. It has been a struggle at times but every battle has its victory.
Looky here!!! We have a bunch of buds from GSC #8 that are hovering nicely at room temp at 62% RH the past couple days. Today was a particularly warm day with another one expected tomorrow. Time for some good trimming and then back into jars.
A couple pics of another sample bud I took off GSC #8 today. 12 wks & 4 days estimated bloom. She keeps putting on more trichomes and getting frostier. A few environmental problems to deal with now but I could probably still leave these flowers on for a little bit longer before they start to die on their own. I'm curious what an actual end of the season flower tastes and feels like.
Here a few pics of the tent from Tuesday. They got some water late that evening. #7 drank the most! She is now directly under the
@BESTVA LED Pro4000 all to herself for the rest of flower. Looking at what's happening with #8...I'm getting an itch to do multiple harvests on the rest of the plants. Have different stages for the indoor too. More work and space keeping things separated. But maybe good to keep my brain and spirit preoccupied.
#7 taking up at least half the width of the tent on her own. Better plant training is a goal for sure. I think I could have had much better results had I not encouraged some of the lower branches to reach out beyond the the mid canopy. Created a lot of issues fitting the plants together and catching on other branches. Also, it made it more difficult to HAVE to rotate the plants to get more coverage on the edges. That was annoying!
#3 isn't doing too shabby either.
#9 is starting to come around and looks a little nicer than it did a couple weeks. Don't get me wrong...I know she looks like the morning after a rave but not TOO horrible right?! Doesn't matter, I'm going to chop her soon.
RIP Jillie Bean
I wish I could have one last hug.
In honor of my friend JMH I toked a small little test nugget from GSC #8 harvested on 10/2. I am lifted! Head feels lighter with my neck tension slowly released. I'm not tired but I'm not in the mood to get up and start cleaning. Still not a smooth smoke but I'm sure it'll get there eventually. Blessings.
