420 Magazine Sponsored Grow Extravaganza Featuring NextLight Mega, GeoFlora Nutes & More!

Unfortunately, I can't do it this round, or next round, at least in the main tent, since we're running four different strains both rounds.

Maybe I'll re-run a couple clones of one of the purple strains in the small tent after I harvest the Chem 91's in there now? :hmmmm:
Actually, thanks for reminding me cuz' whatever I'm gonna run next round in the small tent should get cloned soon.

Would be great to hear a smoke report on dat Chem 91 from a high tolerance smoker like you mate. I used to have some Dinachem(GuavaChemxChem91) and all of the nugs were perfect. Very strong genetics on that one so I am very curious about the Chem91 itself.

Here it is...

The Chem '91 is nothing short of incredible and is the best meds I've grown in the ten years I've been growing. I actually moved to South Florida in October of 1991 from the northeast and was introduced to what was called, "Krypto". I was told that "Krypto" was short for "Kryptonite - the stuff the knocks out superman". I absolutely fell in love with that herb and my screen name of "Mr. Krip" is actually an homage to that original krypto weed.

Sometime around 1992 or 1993, the source for the "Krypto" dried up and while over the years I've had a lot of Krypto/Krippie meds and some were excellent, none were ever like that original strain I was first introduced to as Krypto.

Well, after growing out the Chem '91, I realize this was the strain I had been introduced to back then and I just never knew what it was.

This Chem '91 is pure fuel with skunky undertones and stinks up the whole room as soon as the jar is opened. :yummy:

The high is hard-hitting & trippy and incredibly enjoyable.

The Chem '91 is a definite "keeper", HIGHLY recommended, and I already have two more Chem '91's flowering in the small tent. It's a strain I hope to always have on-hand!

will definately give Chem91 a shot if I can get my hands on some beans
You will not be disappointed. The most consistent blissful high ever. Ever
Agreed 420%! :thumb:

Nice looking buds, too!

I found them $108.74 for 6 seeds. I will keep looking see if I can find cheaper. Thanks Mr. Krip :thumb:
That's pretty cheap - at least compared to the cost of those IHG strains which run something like $250 - $300 per pack!

I had commented earlier that "it's all about the genetics" and I truly don't mind spending some extra $$$'s on good genetics BUT I clone everything and when I find a "keeper" I maintain it as a Bonsai Mom, often for years, and run it multiple times.

I've only popped one of the Chem '91's and now flowering the third clone and still have the original as a Bonsai Mom in the veg tent.

If you don't have a separate veg area to keep the good genetics, it's tough spending that kind of money per seed/plant.

sativa dominate ?

curious on whether you have a preference.

literally where i'm at. need a mother space.

are these gold plates through seed banks or direct from breeder krip ?

I do have room for a mother and clones. It's just that I am trying to behave and stay within my legal 4 plant limit and it's not easy. Probably going to order them comes to $145 cdn.

sativa dominate ?
I guess it depends on what constitutes Sativa dominance? :hmmmm: Her leaves leaned Sativa but stretch wasn't too bad and harvested right around 75 days of 12/12, so she finished quick, and smokes more like an Indica, IMHO.

curious on whether you have a preference.
Give me couchlock or give me death! (which I imagine is just severe couchlock! )

I'm now sitting on over 400 seeds from 95 different strains. Most came from seedbanks but some came directly from the breeders. The Chem '91's came from a bank.

Yeah, I admit I have a little problem!
I don't define this as a problem... a bit obsessive putting it all in a spreadsheet, but other than that, pretty darn impressive. I don't have a list, but I am betting my oversized mason jar in the fridge is packed very similarly, along with some large collections of seeds that I have generated that number in the thousands. It is only a problem when you can't handle it anymore... and it seems to me you have things well in hand.:rofl::laugh: :slide:

i kinda go by the leaf profile. usually tends to indicate dominance, even in hybrid phenos. i find it carries through to the smoke / med benefits as well. i tend to shy from straight indica or sativa, as i try to find things in a med profile.

Give me couchlock or give me death! (which I imagine is just severe couchlock! )

it has it's place and i couldn't be without a good calm down indica dom. a massive couchlock indica dom is perfect for pain relief topicals as well.

i need a sativa dom for canna pills. aimed at adhd control. i like both an indica or sativa as rec smoke depending on circumstance, but the sativa doms have proven effective in adhd and add control.

more than a wee bit of a sack of seeds there - nice job ! ... :p

sad note - family member got two years less a day for 200 seeds back in the dark ages.

Thanks, you made me feel much better! :cheesygrinsmiley:

The reason I put it into a spreadsheet is that, when I'm trying to decide what to run, it's much easier than searching through the mason jars in the fridge which is the exact same way I have mine stored. So, technically, I do still have to search through them, but only to find what I've already decided to run!

Now you've done it... Ms. J is going to make a list. lol
