4 Strains Under TopLED LG-G04B96

Well, I was planning just to defol the 2 indica dominants, the Lucy and the Red Dragon. Once I got started though there was no stopping, although I did go easier on the sativas, the Kali and the Durban Poison.

Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words. The plants have been reversed right/left between the two photos, bottom photo clockwise from top left, Durban, Kali, Red Dragon, Lucy.

First seedling from my DP X NL seed

This is the first seedling I have popped from the Durban Northern Lights cross from my last grow. The pheno looks more like the Durban. It will be interesting to see the genetics firsthand!

Lst'd the Durban and the Kali. The Durban in particular seems really suited to this type of LST as all the branches seem to naturally grow to the same height.

I had a similar problem. I changed the batteries in my pH meter and it was still off, so I took it into the hydro store to verify calibration and it was off by .3 according to the guy. He adjusted it and I took it home and it still looks off a bit. I put the probe in RO water to let it soak (thinking maybe there was some crud on it that I couldn't see) and it still looks off a bit. pH is so important, if there is any indication it's out of whack you need to fix it right away. My RO water is always at ~8.1 and mine was reading low as well.

So, I'd say change batteries and recalibrate at the least and maybe change/get a different pH meter.

Except it is a brand new professional meter and it tests everything else correctly. I've been doing some reading and it seems that RO water will drift acidic. I don't know exactly what is causing it, but I tasted it and there's no question it's really happening.

Wow P. Not sure why that could be, but drifting that much seems really weird. If you have a hydro store around, maybe take your meter AND some water for them to check too (only thinking out loud as that's what I would do if presented with something like this that needs immediate attention.

Interested in what you find man.

Hi LA and MikeTBob! Maybe some contaminant got in the container not sure. I ph EVERYTHING now which is why I caught it. No more surprises.

I think fluxing is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I just don't know whether I have the patience. But I do have lots of seed now, so I should really give one a go. If I was going to try and maximize production I would definitely want the force of the flux on my side!! :)

healthy plants:)
Durban x NL at 12 days. Growing well. This lady gets the best of everything, including spending time under the metal halide as well as the LED.

Getting ready to switch to 12/12. I started cutting back the lights gradually. Evened out the canopy today. Flat-top look, so far so good! :)
