I’m hoping so the breeder says flowering time is 45-50 days and I’m on day 28 but to me I think It will be more than 50 days

If you let your night time temps drift a few degrees lower you will get some nice colors on your buds. Quite normal on Northern lights. Looks great keep up the good work.It looks like I’m starting to get hints of purple in my sugar leaves and buds is that normal of northern lights?
I always veg a bit longer and go way over breeder flowering time, because you never know what conditions that time was based from. I tend to go longer in Veg before flipping the switch, because once you flip the switch the readiness is always dependent on the individual plant. So pay attention to the ladies as only they will tell you when they are ready. I throw those times out the window and let the girls guide me .I’m hoping so the breeder says flowering time is 45-50 days and I’m on day 28 but to me I think It will be more than 50 days
I used to feel exactly this way until I made one logical change in my operations, and then suddenly all of the breeder flowering time recommendations started making sense, and my plants all began to complete within a 5 day window of that predicted time.I always veg a bit longer and go way over breeder flowering time, because you never know what conditions that time was based from. Most seed companies tell little white lies when it comes to harvest windows. They want to sell seeds so a 10 week flower time is not appealing to most breeders. So they fudge times slightly starting their count when they are definitely showing they are flowering. So when you turn your lights out for the first time and start your count down you will be way ahead of the breeder.I used to feel exactly this way until I made one logical change in my operations, and then suddenly all of the breeder flowering time recommendations started making sense, and my plants all began to complete within a 5 day window of that predicted time.
The one change I made was to not consider bloom to start on the day of the flip. Instead, I call that week to 10 days before the pistils actually start bursting from the growth tips, the Transition period... and I don't begin the bloom countdown until flowering actually starts, a week or more after the day of the flip.
Flipping the lights to 12/12 is simply a signal for the plant to go into its bloom mode. Bloom does not actually start until the plant "converts" over from the veg mode to the flowering mode.
Yea my day time temp I’m running right around 78-80 degrees and at night I’m dropping down to 64. With my humidity staying right around 42 in light and dark time.If you let your night time temps drift a few degrees lower you will get some nice colors on your buds. Quite normal on Northern lights. You were right on the money with the 10 days I flipped to 12/12 on December 1st and had first signs of pistils on the 10th. So technically I am just finishing out week 3 of flower todayI used to feel exactly this way until I made one logical change in my operations, and then suddenly all of the breeder flowering time recommendations started making sense, and my plants all began to complete within a 5 day window of that predicted time.

I’ll pay attention to that Emilya, thanks very much. I’d heard that’s what some do, now I understand why and the correlation with the breeder timeline. It’s not a big deal for me being a small personal grower but would certainly be for commercial interests. Saying that I’m not up for running a 12 week variety either, lol!I used to feel exactly this way until I made one logical change in my operations, and then suddenly all of the breeder flowering time recommendations started making sense, and my plants all began to complete within a 5 day window of that predicted time.

Thanks for checking it out My tent dimensions are 60”LX32”wX80”H and I’m running 2 Mars hydro ts1000s at full strength. I was just thinking about adding the old light back in with just the bloom spectrum on.more light never hurt. that said it doesn't look like you are lacking any light from your pics.
If you do put it back in put both veg and bloom on. Some spectrums are beneficial for both stages of growth. Especially if you have white in your veg light. Thanks for checking it out My tent dimensions are 60”LX32”wX80”H and I’m running 2 Mars hydro ts1000s at full strength.
