The cfls are just for heat. It's been really cold here and the temps were dropping into the 60s.

Looking really good mate I'm subbed. Are those led vipaspectra units? Interested in wat u make of them iv just started my new journal with there 900 changed from marshydro due to reliability problems

Yes. The 300 watt vipaspectras. For 1 plant in a 5 gallon pot I think they should be good. Time will tell.

She looks good! Make sure your ph and everything is in check. When leaves are tossing weird colors that's the first go to. Then I start ruling out possible deficiencies. Looks like a cal mag def or a slight n def. Any dark spots?

The soil ph is in the higher range as my runoff is 6.7 and the water going in (well water) has a low ph. I did spray the inner part and around the base with diluted Epsom salts slightly. No dark spots or curling.

So day 31 and she is filling the top of the 5 gallon pot after my training. Has signs of a mag def so have gave her some Epsom yesterday, did a light flush, and fed her today again lightly including some cal mag. She doesn't have mag Def signs on the newer growth so think she'll be fine. Moved her a little closer to the light when I put her back. I should have a pretty even canopy.

Day 34 and she's looking good and stretching. She is drinking fast. Might have to feed her every watering. I made the soil pretty arid but she is completely dry in a 5 pound bucket every 3 days. Pics tomorrow.

Day 35 and the girl is really growing now. Will do some more LST of her branches in a couple days. As you can see if you look closely at the last pic. She is practically laying on her side.

So it's day 40. She is growing big, bushy, and stretching. At this rate she should have at least 15 large colas. She had a mag deficiency and is drinking fast so will probably have to feed her lightly every water. I think I made the soil too arid. No nutrient burn and the water runoff is 6.8 ph so should be fine. Started taking a leaf or two off but not too much. Did some more LST so she has a nice even canopy.
Spread her out some if you can and lower that's outer colas, get the center colas catching up. Good looking plant. .

Day 43 and the girl is doing well. Think the mag Def is gone. She is drinking every 3 days. I watered her today with just a couple teaspoons of molasses. Will start feeding her between every other watering with molasses. I tucked some leaves and did some ltc to spread her out some and even up the canopy. I never topped her and just bent her on her side so the main colas are still going to be taller and fuller.

Day 51. Had a calcium Def that I fixed. Pretty sure it's from my well water after research. She's colorful but should be fine now. Lesson learned for the next grow. More lime to the soil and add ground up lime to the feedings. Girl is still doing well though.

Well harvested at day 98 and I'm not sure what happened. Really loose leafy buds that are super frosty? The lights should be far enough but it almost seems like they cooked the top of the plant?

Hard to tell from the photos, but it would most likely be heat.

I was actually having issues with it getting too cold. I was only using the cfls for a heat source. The temps, ph, and everything should have been good. I think the 2 lights at 16 or so inches were too intense for a 24 hour lifecycle I was forced to use. Also sorry to anyone following for the lack of updates. Got extremely busy around here.
Could be lights too close
