2nd Outdoor Grow In Eastern Canada

Duggan and gidoux I usually put the stopper in but was at a different sink today and wasn't thinking and how does one drop a small plastic cup. Don't worry guys I will never do that again. Just an update on the twilight zone area, the bastard swallowed another seed, no grape seeds left so from now on the plants are getting started inside I am tired of donating seeds to God knows what. Starting a Supersonic Cristal Storm is in the veg room and the Tangerine Dream will be there in a few days, thank God they are both autos. 1 seed left so come on girls do your stuff.:surrender:

Hey cannanewb, from the west side of Canada here, love the raised beds, they look great. Just a note on that wrinkled up growth, it looks like a russet mite problem. I had them and there not easy to eradicate.
Cheers from B.C. Guys

Hey Suntana thanks for stopping by and for the comments on the beds. It could be the mites but I think it is a mutation as Duggan says as it is only affecting one plant the other 12 are fine. Just in case all of the girls will get sprayed with neem oil tonight as something is eating parts of the fan leaves. It doesn't hurt them just ruins the looks of them. So I will treat them for a week and if there are russet mites there they will be taken care of as well. Enjoy your day.

Sounds good, it was just a maybe ., hope you don't mind if I stick around for your grow.

Great day to ya's Can, Suntana,...ya with that ...'thing', ya got there...take a close look at her,...do ya see any mites or bugs....if not then don't worry, if they were there , you would be able to see them. That plant has something wrong with it's gene's. That's why it grows all wrinkley like that...bugs don't cause that. Notice how the color is still really good and it really 'wants' to be proper...but it just can't. Usually cull young plants that display this mutation. Looks like Romaine Lettuce....:)

I did have a plant genetically screwed up like that in the past, I'm going to search for it in my pics, but it was much like that and only one out of 12.

Found it, the soil was sopping wet from flushing the shit out of it, trying to fix it, I ended up killing it.

There was no bugs just a buggered up plant.

Hey Duggan and Suntana, no bugs on that girl but the color is just like the one in Suntana's pic as are the wrinkles. Come to think of it Duggan when they were starting out in the veg room there was one really strange looking plant nodes were all over the place some nodes only had leaves on one side and when you mentioned romaine lettuce I remembered how it looked but then it grew out of it. But for the first while it looked good no mutation until these last 2 - 3 weeks the wrinkles showed and leaves curled up and got dry etc. I will know better next time if I can remember. I trimmed it back pretty good this morning and I will just let her go and see what happens. Thanks for the input guys and Duggan your right on again as always, I am glad I nominated you buddy you rock.

Yup that's what I am going to do Dug, what can it hurt right. I might get something off of it. I will try to remember to get a pic of it when I am out doing the neem oil. It doesn't look that great since I trimmed all the crap off, but I will keep everyone up to date of her progress in the journal. I am with you Dug, it is definitely a learning experience and it did come out of it for quite a while once, so anything can happen. Have yourself a great night bud.

Sunday July 9th, day 80 of veg for the photos and day 34 and 32 of veg for the autos. All the girls had a big dose of nutes and are doing extremely well except for the mutated blueberry lady. The rate the photos are growing now is unbelievable you would swear that they were in stretch, but I know it is way too early. The girls were sprayed with neem oil again last night, once more and they should be good for a while. I will get some new pics today so you can see how fast they are growing, have a great day folks. :green_heart::passitleft:

Hey Can, how goes bud! You got some nice lookin plants there ...pretty soon we're not gonna be able to see those stairs...:thumb:. looks like ya got a couple Indicas in that group...am i right...big fat leaves...lookin good! You messin with those Autos too....Bahhh!...LOL!:)

Hey Duggan how's your day going. Yup doing the autos thing to ensure I have enough to get me through to harvest. Had a little Tangerine Dream break through today and the biggest auto is Pineapple Punch and the other is blueberry. Still waiting for the Supersonic Cristal Storm to make her way above the dirt. Yes Dug I have quite a few indicas on the go three White Widow, two Pineapple Express, one Honey Banana, and three blue berry. My Sativas are two Tangerine Dream and one Strawberry Haze. Thats it and that is more than enough for me to deal with in my shape. Next year 8 is my limit, at least that's my thought right now but I do love growing.:MoreNutes:

OK, i gotcha ..:thumb: Yes, you have some work there for sure...i like your strain choices. You have done this before...i can see that too. You have a couple Sativa hybrids to test the growing season i see,..very cool Can.
I hope the season goes well , right thru to the end for ya . Cheers eh!:high-five:
Definitely going to be a busy harvest. The sativas are a first 4 me but only 70 days in flower so not bad, hope it is a nice long mild fall. September will see greenhouse frameworks go up with detachable tarps that will go on the tops on frosty nights. I have only done this once before and I am constantly researching, asking question and learning. Did 5 WW last year and didn't care that much for the taste hence the multiple strains this grow. It is all about the flavor for me. Have a good night man, sorry to hear about the laptop, I would be lost without mine.:thumb:

Wednesday July 12th, day 83 of veg for the photos and day 37, 35, and 2 for the autos. The girls all got a gallon of nutes this morning except for the baby Tangerine Dream Auto and all is going well and the girls are all looking terrific except for the mutated blueberry lady. That’s all for today, have a great one peeps. :woohoo:

Saturday July 15, day 86 of veg for the photos and day 40, 38 and 5 for all the autos. All the girls got 14 gallons of nutes this morning and are looking great. Yesterday My friend and I started topping the newest bed we got through the White Widows with no problem then we moved on to the Strawberry Haze and the Pineapple Express and then we realized that the rest of the plants were going into pre flower. This seems a lot earlier than last year’s grow, so we stopped the topping and I will just wait to see what happens. I will get some new pics later on today, have a great weekend peeps.
