I am in good old New Brunswick, my wife was just putting my hair in a pony tail and she said she thought my hair was longer than Jessie's from The Beachcombers, now there are two names I haven't heard for a while...lol

You ,,...me ,..we gotta sit , laugh , puff,..get to know each other. My heart remains in NS....tears sometimes come on my face when i think of my childhood there.....just a different way of life ...lots to talk about cannanewb. How can we shorten 'Cannanewb' a lil...got any ideas bud?

Good day to ya Dug, you are right it is truly different here, good times in the Maritimes. Just Call me Can, I was a newb last year, still quite a newb so you can call me either one...lol. Happy Canada Say Dug. Any thoughts on my baby auto that I think is going tits up, I think the sun was too much for her. It is overcast and wet here today and tomorrow so if she doesn't come around I have a Supersonic Cristal Storm Auto in the paper towel now.

Hey Can...:tokin: About your lil wilty seedling there. Yes , i have a couple thoughts for you. two things come to mind right away. First , too wet soil ., Second thing ,..possibly too rich, too hot ' with too much N. These are my initial obs. She looks good otherwise ,..nice color and has a nice shine to her leaves. I would NOT give up on her just yet . Let that soil dry out,.. and i bet she starts to look much better in a week or so. Cheers and have a great day !:high-five:
 
Sorry Dug, I haven't posted any pics it just came up out of the dirt Thursday night then those little leaves started to disappear Friday in the sun, but it was only 23 and sunny. It clouded over in the evening and was a little damp here today but it had the humid dome back over it before any moisture fell. It is supposed to be the same weather tomorrow and that weather seems to be helping a bit at least it looks that way to me. So it leaves me to believe the sun may have been a bit too much for it. Soil is just plain Pro-mix as I used for my others and they did fine. So what I did is cut a 2 litre cardboard milk in half and cut two large windows in it so it covers the top and the two sides that the sun hits on but still allows it to get light from the sides with the windows in them. What are your thoughts on this now that you know how young the plant is. Hope your Canada day was great mine was very low key visiting my dad in the hospital and trying to resurrect and old computer....YAY.

By the way that mutated plant that I trimmed all the mutated stuff off of it is growing back the same should I cut lower to get rid of it. I have no idea where to cut it is way different that topping. If I went an inch or to lower on the branches would that work better? I am at a total loss on this one. Once the mutation starts to appear it's growth slows down incredibly or else I would just leave it. Have a good night and congrats on your MOTM win.
 
Great morning to ya Can.Thanks for the nice words . With your lil one....just wait her out ,..see what happens. That's all i got to say about her. She might surprise ya and turn the corner , just be patient with her is all. About that other mutant thing ya got...:) , i would cut her back some more and take notice. A learning experience for sure bud...great stuff.

Thanks for the advice Dug. I will do all of that. When I cut it back again, will new growth start at any point on the branches or should I cut back to a certain point? Not hard to tell this is new to me is it? Have a great Day Dug, enjoy the weekend my friend.:thankyou:
 
Sunday July 2nd, Day 73 of Veg for the photos. All the girls had a big drink of nutes. I also ended up removing the mutated parts again this time I cut it back even further to see if it will grow back in normal. If not I will just let it grow back however and see what happens. It is day 27 and 25 for the big autos, Pineapple Punch and Blueberry. Cherry bomb is on day three but doing nothing but still alive, I think. Supersonic Cristal Storm went into the dirt today but I started her inside as starting the autos outside in the heat is not working that well. Enjoy the rest of your long weekend folks.:theband:

Thursday July 6th, Day 77 of veg for the photos and day 31 and 29 of veg for the autos. Aii the girls had a big drink of nutes today and all is well and they are looking good except for the mutated blueberry photo lady as she is doing about the same. I am seeing some leaves are being chewed on so I will be giving the girls a dose of neem oil tonight after the sun goes down. That is about it for today. Have a great day friends.

I soaked my last grape seed last night and when I went to soak the paper towel I dropped the cup of water the seed was in and I lost the seed down the drain, fuck that pisses me off. Not having good luck with the auto seeds. So a tangerine dream auto seed just went into the water. Next time I will put the plug in the sink before I attempt this shit....GRRRR.

Dont ever do it over the sink. Get the paper towel ready, take the seed out put it in the paper towel first. Then go to the sink. Lesson learned i guess
