The girls are 19 days in from 12/12 flip
So the SCROG net that i did have up was urking me because I was hoping for more stretch on Lemon Skunk and Green Crack but didn’t get much of a stretch at all and it kinda screwed up my plans so I took down the one I made and just went and got a trellis net kinda tucked them under it and called it a day and it will now really just be a net to help when the girls when their buds get heavier. The airflow is much better in there now too so that works for me. On day 21 I’ll do the final defoliation of leaves hiding the sites and clean them up a bit.
I got the humidifier, dehumidifier, 6” inline fan, 6” ducting ordered today and should all be here by Saturday! The temps have been staying at a high of 79*F low of 68-69*F RH 48-56% better then it was!
They are due a feeding tomorrow.

Ya it looks good in there candy! I'm always asking questions when I see things that concern me and this time it happens to be the scrog net. It may explain some of your frustration too.
To me it looks a little flimsy and the plants will have a hard time staying where you want them. The net should be rigid or at the very least taught at all times, such as a bungee style. The squares look quite big too. Smaller squares allow the plant to be trained better since you can tuck more frequently.

With a scrog you want the net at the canopy before you flip, so when the girls stretch you can tuck and weave them throughout. Any branches that dont make it to the canopy are removed after the stretch is over.

I’m getting some seeds in within the next few days been checking the mail like a lil school girl anxiously awaiting a letter from Santa! (White Widow, Jack Herer and Power Plant, WW & JH are my two faves so super stoked!) I read your first journal and laughed my butt off and working on your newest journal now and again great read! You did and are doing an awesome job man!

That’s exactly what I was hoping for but the two in the front (GC & LS ) just didn’t stretch much and day 21 is 2 days out and was flustered because it felt like there wasn’t much up on top. That net I have up now wasn’t at all what I was expecting when I bought it but figured I could mess with it more tomorrow or just get a better net.

Absolutely! The seeds were sitting in my cart since April!! Had to do some saving after getting all my equipment in order and finally took the plunge. Hope you are having a great day.

So my humidifier and 6” inline exhaust fan was supposed to be delivered today and I had errands to run so I asked my man and my boy to please make sure If the dogs needed out for the bathroom to please please get them back in right away so I could get my deliveries I needed... well I come back home to the dogs in the yard and a message from Amazon that they were unable to deliver and would have to try again!! I have literally cancelled plans to get his deliveries before but they can’t just do a simple flipping favor to keep the dogs in the house! Frickity frack but I digress.. Today was day 21 from the 12/12 flip and I got the girls all defoliated, phone kept ringing and all kinds of nonsense in the background so hopefully i got all I wanted to get but if not it looked close enough. They all seemed to take it with a grain of salt and they got their feeding right after and went to bed happy. I didn’t get any before pics of the girls in the 4x4 and had to take quick pics of the after. But here they are

I know I saw above you were having some trouble with your trellis you could try lst on the next round. If you start it early in veg you can really open them up creating a nice short wide plant and will give you a similar result as a scrog but without having to mess around with a net. Lol on the husband bit! I get frustrated but I quickly get over it and move on, just sometimes vent for a smidge I did some LST my first grow and it worked out good (will be better next go around) just wanted to try something different this time and unfortunately the two girls in the front just didn’t give me enough stretch.. I actually miss being able to go hang out with the girls and chat with them it makes it hard to do with all the gadgets in the tent. The seeds I got in were white widow , Jack Herer and Power Plant I’ll be starting 2 of each in my first grow space (closet in my craft room) I’ll veg them in there until the tents open back up around Thanksgiving. I actually like the girls in there because I can just go sit in there and chat with them (it’s my chill zone). Thank you for the kind words and the tips! Always appreciated

Today is 27 days from 12/12 and midflower day 6. I got the 6” inline exhaust fan in finally yesterday and the air movement is amazing but a little to amazing even on low I noticed when I zipped her up without the vents flaps open that it was sucking the tent in super tight (I only had a 4” for intake) so I added the 4” fan that I was using for exhaust and put it in another slot to bring the intake up when the tents completely sealed. (I still have the other 4” intake on the bottom hole. It didn’t make a huge difference so I took the vent hose and put it directly in front of the exhaust and now the pressure and temps are within the VPD scale for midflower. Also the tent is no longer sucking in nor bulging out. I know it’s not ideal but problem solved for now until I can afford to get another 6” intake fan. The low end of the temps are from 22-23*C and The high end is 27.1*c RH ranges from 42-48% average temps stay about 26*C and 45% RH. There’s a lot of air movement to all the girls.
