2L Hempy Coco Coir

right on Twelve, they look like they are gonna cure nicely, very nice, do you have a trimmer or all by hand??? Looks great brother nice grow, i got maybe another 20 +/- days to go, wish i knew strains they are so different, one is solid nugs the other like tai stick type, interesting, plus the smells too. Great job, really love the pics it puts the icing on the cake. :high-five:

Thanks, Jon Smith.

Very nice, bigirishdoode. That could be a great logo for the strain without the Sam Addams being copyrighted and all.

Thanks, kola bear. Yes, they were all trimmed by hand. Looking forward to your harvest!

Thank you, SmokzAlot. It was plan D, hehe.

Thanks, OG13. We'll enjoy it indeed.

Twelve, glad to see you taking off with your breeding..I remember our first conversation we had when you decided to give it a try, looks like I was right, you definately are excelling in breeding brother!!

GodsTrichome, I remember our conversation about it too. Breeding is like a different kind of fun than just growing. I'm sure you know what I mean when having some strains of your own too. Thanks for the kind words.

NateRamrod, congrats on the adopting the 2L SOG style. You'll love it. I'm still testing out yield on different strains with the multi strains grow. Collecting more harvested plants then work out the average dry weight per plant. I just began harvesting so will have much better idea in few weeks when I harvest more. Give a few strains a grow to find what you like.

After I lost a dispensary account due to the owner got locked up for selling white stuff on the side if you know what I mean. Bad move on that person part IMO, otherwise they were staying under the guidelines of distribution of cannabis. My confident was low and I thought about shutting down my operation since I had no one else to distribute the meds to at the same time it is costing me to produce.

I hung in there and continue to expand and search for new dispensary to donate my meds to. About a month of searching I've finally got a new account open with a different dispensary. That got a huge weight lifted from my shoulders. They seem to love my new cross; Firestorm and wants more of it...yikes. They also like the other strains I had and basically all the plants flowering sold out before they had a chance to harvest...and I only had a few gram to myself, lol. They wanted more and I told them they'll get more soon right now the plants are not where I want them yet.

Looks like if things are picking up I might have to get another 1000w HPS and put in more clones in the new bloom room. The dispensary will let me know which meds the patients likes most for pain relief and etc...then I'll focus on those strains. I don't like dealing with the business side so our deal is simple, they don't require me to have 1lb like they do from other growers I can donate at any amount, which is cool. We agreed on 10/g.

The perpetual system is going strong just need to keep an eye on it for smooth operation. Now I can finally say I have a dream job.

Twelve do you use drying racks to dry out your stash???? was looking into grabbing one of those hanging ones, i usually dry for about a week + then jar up to bring more moisture out then dry again, thought the rack would help, what do you think....:thanks:

kola bear, I don't use a rack at the moment. After the plant is harvested I hung them on a clothes hanger for 3 days in the dark, dry cool place (the closet) and then clip them into nugs and jar it for curing. Seem to work well so far. By the way the link on your signature has extra characters which is not directing to your journal.

Walter White, thank you for the kind words.

OG13, thank you. Was thinking of getting another 1K watt to go with the 1K currently running, 2x 1000w will be greater than 2x 600w for one room. At lease good during Winter grow for Summer I will run the 2x 600w.

Thanks for letting me know that Twelve, tried to fix it hopefully it works now. You start curing straight like that, and open the lid and let it air out. Pretty much i do it the same way but i was thinking i could use the rack after curing in the jar for a day or so to dry out buds a little more from moisture locked inside, or do you not run into that problem, just put in a jar and cure??? let me know i always like to learn to cure better. thanks:thanks::Namaste:

kola bear, if it's not too expensive you can get it or build one yourself and give it a try. We have to try to know. For now, the methods I use works and will be sticking with it until I ran out of jars then try out the racks. To get moisture out from the jar without removing buds is simple. Put it up to a fan, let it bring in fresh air then close the lid back up again for another day of curing until the buds are where we want them. Yep, just put in the jar and cure with burping.

AWESOME information Twelve, thanks i would do the same thing open the jar and let it breathe for a while but i always was worried about buds on bottom not venting enough, but from what it sounds like with you that is not a problem, was a little worried to because i haven't had buds this thick so i figured there would be a lot of inner moisture to bring out and wanted to make sure i don't have it too wet and start mold, i would just die after this long.......:Namaste: (sativas love um but man they take a while)

kola bear, yeah that is a nightmare if all the bud mold. To prevent this keep the jar 1/3 full of the bud (need lots of jars tall ones are best) seem to exchange the air thoroughly during burping, then when they are dry and cured it can be piled up together in a bigger gar or filled the ones full.

All gone now...yum!
