2L Hempy Coco Coir

Thanks HighFlyin5, the idea came from an accident of leaving the light plugged from the power strip that was on a timer for bloom cycle. Was moving lights around and had the clone light temporally plugged for few hours and totally forgot about it.

You'll love it SteveHman, it's great and fastest way extracting trichs. Looking forward to your first dry ice run.

New Bloom Room update

The clones are loving the 1000w Digilux bulb, with an extra large reflective hood. It seem to spread the light very wide and evenly still offer good light penetration. The real test will come during the buds development. We'll find out in 3-4 weeks.

Different growth, the newest one is 1 day, oldest is 14. These are in 1L (2L bottle cut in half use both parts). After I water them with nothing but water on Sunday night of each week, I let them dry out for 2 days before the next feeding, then feed every other day.

No trich development yet on any of the plants, just some nice nickle size pistils, and fat stem. We got White Widow, Bubba Kush, Berry Bomb, Super Lemon Haze, Firestorm, Pineapple Express, Cheese, Downtown Stumble, C99, and Snow White.

Photography Tips

Due to popular demands (not really) I like to share with you how I get close up shots like these:

Photography: It's all about cropping.

Let me know if you have questions. Would love to see more close ups I'm sure others are too. Seem like there isn't enough of them in journals. Hopefully, the tutorial can help change that.

Not an expert just sharing you how I achieved this without macro lens/feature on the camera. True macro is better although this method is very inexpensive. A macro lens can cost up to $600 lol.

Thanks, Jon Smith!

We're vibration of inspiration in the universe never meant for containment, only movement. Thanks, bigirishdoode! I enjoy your creativity with the pics too!

Thank you, missbud! The only thing I'm raising is my lighter and have fun with everything else.

You're so kind, Fratdogg223! Unfortunately, I'm only a mere messenger - spreading the news of its existence. The seed belong to the Earth. :Namaste:

Easy 12/12 man, Amazing journal and pics as usual!! What the F are them seeds man, I mean how you get them looking like that!! That hash looks nice man!!:goodjob:

Thanks JBC420! These does look cool though. Already got some as seedlings and will flower them next week can't wait to see the Frankenstein come to life during bloom.

This is 1 of 11 new cross recently. There are many other new strains that has crazy patterns too, see more at the breeding program.

Now we are talking, is it strange to be very excited about the 1k... ? :yahoo:

Garden is looking the tits as usual, got a nack for getting your grow dialed in fast Twelve. Firestorm has matured into a beautifull specimen and i wish you all the best in the POTM contest, with your hard work and her beauty you desrve it!

Thanks for the little tip on sexing so simple yet no one thinks of it, will make things alot more efficent.

:goodjob:

Now we are talking, is it strange to be very excited about the 1k... ? :yahoo:

Hell no! I am always excited by more light! :yahoo: I use 1k for 4x4. I'm building a new grow room that will give me 4x8...if I had the money, and could mitigate the heat, I'd use 3k and mix HPS & MH.

Thanks for the little tip on sexing so simple yet no one thinks of it, will make things alot more efficent.

:goodjob:

Hell yes! I +reped Twelve for that tip! I have four "grow bibles" and that's the first time I heard about such a practice.

Got a question and figured i'd ask you also being the sh*$ grower and my hero :adore:

I am planning next grow using a 7 gal geo pot (bigger roots bigger fruits theory)

However, if i put plants in there and then flip to 12/12 i am figuring they will also be able to stretch even more to a height i may not even know, sooooooo should i put into like a 3 gal during that transition phase for the stretch and once the stretch is over in like two weeks replant then into a 7 gal or do you think planting in a 7 gal right off the bat wont make the plant stretch anymore than the 2-3x the original height, should i just veg next grow for 30 days then flip no matter what to be able to have like a 90 day harvest since i only have a one room set up and cannot do concurrent grows???? Thanks for your feedback.:Namaste:

Thanks Corey! The plants are loving your nutes!

Thank you, Siscokid!

Appreciate that, GodSpeed! This is my first time running 1K and will compare the results with the 1K in 4x4 tent (400w MH + 600w HPS). Firestorm is now part of my permanent collection. 4 strains is a keeper while test growing 16 other strains including my own cross.

Fratdogg223, I did not know grow bibles does not have the info. Might have to contact Jorge Cervantes and ask him to mention it in his books.

kola bear, thanks for the kind words man but I'm just a regular grower and my camera makes it look good!

Yes, start out with the 7gal in veg, let the plant grow for 30-50 days then flip. Try not to transplant during flowering it may stress them and hermie trait might activate. Train the plants while in veg to bush out instead of growing tall so when its in flower the stretch will not be manageable. Training it by topping/fimming/LST/Scrog/supercrop you get more yield and light penetration for your canopies. Remember to clean out the lower branches before flipping to get the tops more full. Without a perpetual cycle grow you can go two ways; veg out a few plants to grow big or veg out many to grow small (SOG). Few plants will take longer veg time, more plants will take less vegging time. Depends on how many plants the states allow. Going SOG with less veg time you'll have more harvest within a year vs few big plants. Although the plants are smaller you make up in numbers. Hope that helps.

Thanks for feedback Twelve...Nice pics and nice grow and believe me you humble guy it aint the camera..hahaha.....Im growing in my shower and there is not much space in there i am planning on doing another grow shortly after this one from seed, prob gonna use 5 gal, right now due to the FIMing i did the plants branching are close to each other, i keep rotating them to make sure they get adequate lighting since i only got two 200w DS leds, I really like FIMing. Was maybe going to do one plant in a 7 gal veg to 30" then flip switch, but i think i would need supp lighting for lower branches....Thanks for the pointers of trimming plant lower branches to get better tops, i did on one of my plants because a few looked so scraggly that i didnt want plant wasting any energy on them.:Namaste:

:adore:
