2L Hempy Coco Coir

Hey Twelve,

One more question, on really large dense buds, same process for drying and curing??? This grow is my largest densest buds i ever grew and got to harvest, last few were stolen and chopped down. Little worried on being there to burp when needed since i work and am away from home for a while. Thanks:Namaste:

bigirishdoode, that's a great camera you got there. My camera is only 12MP yours is 14MP! Check out this link it tells more about shutter speed and aperture. If your camera can change both then you can manually set it to your desire. Best for DSLR cameras.

jandre2k3, these are the ones with metal canning jar lids. The Pop-top would work too. Your super store should carry them they are very inexpensive. For post #420 you get a Firestorm nug!

kola bear, you're lucky to have really large dense buds. Break them up into smaller nugs and jar them. If you won't be there to burp them daily leave the lid off while having the nug sit in the jar, or if they are too dry closed the lid and check them again once you're home.

Flowering: 27 Days

This month's contest is quite amazing check them out and cast your vote if you have not done so! Looks like I'm in 3 out of 6 contests. Win or lose I've already won just look at the forest. :Namaste:

Update from the new bloom room. :MoreNutes:

The oldest plants are 27 days and they are taking off. With 1000w hps the penetration is quite good so I will leave the leaves as is. Did a light defoliation few weeks ago will let them alone till harvest. Got plenty of C99, Firestorm, and Super Lemon Haze from the oldest plants. There are more strains, like White Widow, Bubba Kush, Snow White, Berry Bomb, Downtown Stumble, Pineapple Express, and Heavy Duty Fruity.

Using the 1L (2L cut in half use both parts) and been trying out a watering technique to blow up buds and reduce flowering time; after flushing the medium letting the plants dry out near death before I water/feed the bottles. It usually happen on the 2nd day, the 1L hold less water so drying time is reduced. For larger container may have to wait 3-5 days.

Got tons of clones going and only selecting the best to flower, even if they are flowering I can still remove them after two weeks into flowering if they are not doing well.

Thinking of adding in 2x 180w LED to help veg out the clones 1 week extra before putting in flowering. Or might use it as supplement lighting. :Namaste:

One more thing. Check this out, Stop America censorship!.

Thanks for the info 12. I'm trying to get my act perpetual. About three mothers under cfls n I'll take clones n veg for a short while then right under a 400w for flower. Using hempy n crf nutes.
I've just germinated a couple moby dick, white cherry (GWxcherrykush), and Great White seeds. Thinking bout vegging under d gas lantern routine.

I've said it before and will again. Your plants are first rate beautiful. Nice job!

Aperature: Iris; Controls how much light is let into the exposure chamber of a camera.

Shutter: Controls the actual speed at which the exposure happens. Opens behind the Iris of a camera at the beginning of an exposure, then closes to complete.

The Iris and Shutter of a camera work in tandem to control how much light actually hits the film at the very back of the exposure chamber. The faster the Shutter Speed (i.e. 100, 200, 400, 600, 800....) the further the Iris must open to allow more light through at once. Adversely, at lower shutter speeds in bright light, the Aperature must be closed so as not to wash out the image with too much light. In certain cases (Cloudy days, Night Time with no flash) the Aperature and Shutter Speed can both be high to allow more light to strike the film.

This was mostly usd in the generation of cameras that used 35mm film. They were called SLR's. SLR stands for Single Lense Reflex Camera. This was because the viewfinder actually looked through the lens at the front of the camera that ALSO was the lens through which the actual picture was taken. This was achieved with prismatic glass and a mirror that moved out of the way just before the shutter was opened, and fell back into place after the exposure was complete. It resulted in the unique "Sh-CLICK" of this type of camera. Later a motor drive was implemented to advance the film which gave the "whirrr".

A dSLR is still the same camera, but instead of 35mm film in the back of the exposure chamber, there is an image processor. This makes the SLR digital, and thus the "d" preceding the type "SLR" for describing the camera.

jandre2k3, thanks I need to find a boat toy and add in the pics, it is definitely a sea of green. Yes, very nice avatar. Great info on aperture and shutter speed.

HerbFarma, get a perpetual grow going you'll love it. Harvest time is reduced from every 4 months to every 4 days if you want. Plants vegged under GLR will be very lush, healthy, increased growth rate and saves you operation cost, no lose here all win.

1970s Grower, thank you. The show really happen during 7-8th week in flower.

missbud, looks can be deceiving. Thanks, that means I haven't messed up in a while.

bigirishdoode, I hope the people stand up and will not let it happen. It will be like China or N.Korea seem like America has been taking notes. Also internet is so powerful it is the backbone of many revolution around the world. Seem like countries that are censored have no revolution…

Thanks, yeah play with the camera and find your settings. One step at a time, learn the basics and practice. Like a plant growth it does not happen over night from veg to bloom. Took time. DSLR is a digital single lens reflector, cameras that has big lens.

Jon Smith, thank you.

:adore::adore::adore:

Wow! missbud nailed it...Perfect! If you take the first pic out where you can see they are growing in the 2 liter bottles, and just looked at the others, they are so perfect that I could see someone thinking they were fake!

:bravo:

GodSpeed, I think once we surrender to the beauty of nature we've gained extra strength and motivation to carry out our dreams.

Fratdogg223, thank you. I'm planning on adding in 3 more lights, one 400w MH (for mix light) and 2x 180w LED (that's been sitting around collecting dust) for extra side lights. The 1000w hps is the finisher light, only for older plants to really get those buds bigger. At lease that's the plan. They are not perfect unless each reaches 15g+ dry weight per plant, until then it's all prototype. ;)
