A REALLY great weed?
The fourth toke and you're seriously considering asking the person you're smoking with to get you to the emergency room, then you're head calms down after about 15 or 20 minutes, you realize that you're not going to die, and you trip for about four hours even though everything seems a bit scary. Then you pretty much grow and smoke this for the rest of your life. When I get to a great weed I'll let you know what it's name is.

Old Timers Haze - Grown in Subcool's super soil mix; 15 weeks and 1 day of "No Mercy" 12/12 from seed; exactly 5 weeks from the first hairs visible to the naked eye. I tied back most of that mess from the light on the right side after this pic was taken. It still hasn't stopped stretching which sucks but I think it will soon. Anywhere from 11 to 19 weeks to go, according to the manufacturer's specs.

My feet'll be getting the LED tri-band treatment. Hmmm. I heard before that UV rays kill certain bacteria maybe it'll kill the dead rotten skunk smell from my feet and potheads will quit following me!

Um ... help me with the numbers. You're 15 weeks into it ... it took 10 weeks at 12/12 to show flowers ... and you have 11 to 19 weeks to go? That's just seems so wronggg.
I have a Hawaiian Snow started in a 4x4 room with less than a 7 foot ceiling, and I've been thinking of trying to squeeze it into a 20" x48" scrog. I like the look of what you have going, but I sure don't want 10 weeks of veg! It's supposed to go 14 weeks or so in flower. Fortunately THSea has an outdoor one I'm gonna keep my eye on.

You have the numbers right. These difficult and long running Hazes are personal choices I make to test and push my personal growing ability (Old Timers Haze is the longest flowering period weed plant I could find online; if anybody knows a longer strain please chime in). The Hawaiian Snow won't take nearly as long to go into flowering as this 16 to 24 week flowering Haze; the longer the flowering period of a strain, the longer it takes to go into flowering when put straight under 12/12 from seed. I've had Indicas under 12/12 from seed show hairs in 6-7 weeks. You should easily fit that plant into a 20" by 48" SCROG, though. Now I could have put the light down to 10 hours and maybe got it going quicker, but another thing I've noticed is when you put a plant under 12/12 before signs of pre-flower, it chops sooner than the breeder's times. Just the "No Mercy" light cycle probably is going to put these at the low end of the finishing time.
Well, I've had it under 24 hours for 2 weeks while it was in its dixie cup, and I'm hoping it'll start flowering in another 5 weeks under 12/12 - maybe that's too optimistic. I won't have room for the scrog until my Northern Lights autos finish during July. I didn't realize what I got myself into until after I'd started it, heheh. But I love sativas and I'm up for the challenge - figure I can Uncle Ben her and spread her wide, maybe move her to a 10-15 gallon pot. We'll see. Wish me luck.

12 on, 5 off, 1 on, 5 off? I tried it with my old 250 watt system, and the yield and size suffered pretty bad. I hear people get good results with bigger lights.
no thats GLR. DLS is diminished light schedule. start with 2 weeks of 12/12 and then knock a half hour of light off every week till you get to 9/15. simulating the ending grow season
