I wish I could remember, Reg. It added new pistils for quite a while. Eventually the new growth had only the slightest indication, like when a plant first shows its sex, but never any calyx development. As long as you had good roots, you see new growth, and the photoperiod is long enough, I can't see it causing problems. I've only done this a couple of times so someone with more experience may call me on it.
I think it is the shock of taking a cutting that makes the plant try to reproduce, but once it is back on it "feet", it goes back into full veg mode. I tried my simple down and dirty cloning a couple of weeks ago. They didn't work out, but all added pistils. After two weeks the root development was minimal so I culled them all and started again. This time I did it the way I usually do. Assuming they work, I'll try to see if I get pistils again and how long they continue.
