So whens the first estimated harvest date?
McBudz
Honey, you are such a wonderful mentor!!! It is approaching!!
I have a calander which maps out the dates for every plant I have put to flower. But of course, this is a RANGE of dates - not THE date for anything. I have a 30x loupe coming so I can *hopefully* check trichs for actual harvest dates. But I will check the calander daily to assure I don't miss checkin' something. The earliest harvest date is Dec. 6th. From then on, it will be very busy for this ol' Granny!
Calander info example...
(3) White Widows between 12/06 and 12/20
(2) Medijuana between 12/06 and 12/13
(1) BB between 12/06 and 12/20 - but I have in my notes that if you can leave blueberry until 10 weeks, it has a good late growth time and gives better color changes.
This continues with the various strains and different flowering times and will be pretty much perpetual until the end.
I have not done well on updating on the clones - it's on my list, but taking pics of buds is SO MUCH MORE FUN!!! LOL!
So... to catch up a bit on the clones, I have begun to start squeezing some into the flower room. The first clones I took grew fantastic, but they were way too early to be able to add in the flower room. Thus, I pulled a ton of them and continued cloning along the way. But I kept a few of the first clones too, one of each strain I had cloned at that time and more of specific strains. All have grown nicely and were transplanted to 1 gal pots some time ago.
I thought a lot and figured if I could squeeze some of these in early to the flower room, I may get a third grow cycle out of a few of the shorter flower-to-harvest strains (LD, Medijuana, AK-47). So I rearranged (again... seems like this is also something I do a lot of!) and made some room for some plants to fit in for a bit of their stretch -
however, I am leaving them in their small pots for the moment. These are basically "extra" plants (have lots of clones coming up), but I figured if some of them did anything, I was better to grow them... and I just couldn't bring myself to kill them when I had grown them this far!
So let's see... I have added:
(1) Blueberry in the flower room on 11/14. I did not LST this blueberry, let it grow to 10" tall, transplanted to a 2 gal. pot and am going to see how it grows. These seem to fit in a smaller space in the grow room.
(1) Blueberry on 11/21. Same as above in transplanting and size. I still have one more blueberry in the veg room at about 6" tall.
(1) G13 Haze on 11/15. I let this one grow too, did not LST. I still have it in a small pot. This was one of 3 early G13 Haze clones I just couldn't toss since I only had one in the first flowering group. The other 2 are undergoing LST but can't be held off too much longer. I also have 3 smaller G13 Haze clones. I don't know how many of them I will grow out, but they are here just in case. These have a longer flowering period, so i won't grow as much of them.
(1) LD on 11/15. I needed room in the veg room so I sent one LD a bit earlier and then...
(4) more LD today, 11/24. These were LST'd and filled out pretty nice. This strain has had a strong and wonderful aroma (very stinky) since early vegging... and it has a short flower to harvest grow period of 56 to 63 days. I have 6 more smaller clones of LD and will decide down the road if I need them, or, more likely I will need to clone (have dates marked in my calander) more to get a third cycle of LD in by Jan 27th.
(1) White Widow on 11/21. I kept this one in case I needed a mother, but I have 6 more smaller White Widow clones and do not need a mom. Thus, I sent her to flower just cuz I couldn't do her in.
(1) Thai Tanic on 11/24. This one I also kept for a mom, but don't need. This will be the last of the Thai Tanic. This strain has a longer flowering period and since I will have a total of 5 plants, this will have to do me. This plant was topped, LST'd, and pruned cuz it just kept wanting to grow - so it's a little bushy.
So... I have added 10 more plants in the flower room. I was happy with the light everything is getting at present. Since there is such a variety of heights, I am able to add shorter plants between taller and they all get better light that way.
But I bet harvest will start just in time!!!
Will be back in a new message with pics and a question...
