1st Indoor Grow - 9 Strains - Eek!

GREAT Granny!!! Holy cow!!
Im so sorry to ask you again, but i cant seem to find the post in here. What strain are you most excited for?

That medijuana sounds great! Im growing california dream and its at 24% THC so i know how you feel about that! Im shakin in my boots waiting!

((((((mesrone honey)))))) Great to see ya! I couldn't remember who asked me that! Gees - that is a really hard question and I don't think I can answer it! As each strain grows, each brings new excitement and awe. I chose a variety in strains cuz each had their own special qualities. I can't leave out the Cheese strain just cuz it's budding is just beginning - I know that strain is going to have it's day in my heart down the road (and it smells real strong and real good now!).

Don't know if I expressed my thoughts well in words??? In other words, I am excited for them ALL! However, I'm gonna reserve the right to have favorites after I see how they yield and how they smoke in the end.

As for the smoke testing so far...

Right now, I can tell you the Medijuana is packing one hell of a powerful buzz. WOWSA! I'm a heavy smoker and have been partaking of some real fine flavors this past year (before that mostly just seedy swag). I don't necessarily stop with just a few hits... well, the Medijuana definitely FORCED me to stop! Got pretty light headed with this one - strong indica buzz. LOVE IT! If this is what it does now, what will it do when ripe for harvest??? Flavor is real nice on this one too! Extremely strong smoke.

The White Widow is also packin' a powerful buzz. YEEHAH!! A bit more head and a bit less body than the Medijuana. Real real nice buzz that lasts quite a long time. Again, I keep wondering what they will be like when they are finished! Flavor on this one is lacking, but I have hope for the finished harvest being dryed and cured right will greatly change this.

Uploading images... be back in a bit...

Well, Granny, you won't believe what I found on Wanda, the ol girl tried to reproduce herself! Wouldn't say she's a full fledged hermie with only one pollen sac, but still quite a surprise finding it in her 5th week of flower.

We kid a lot about taking buds early, but what the hay, it's why we grow right? If it's dry, or the cost is insane like it is now, and the young buds do the trick, it's a no brain'er in my book. You certainly have a world class selection to chose from.

++ Reps for keeping up with the labor intensive requirements for all those plants. I get tired sitting here thinking about the watering, feeding schedules, adjustments, and routine inspections your faced with, in addition to your regular demands, both private, and business:clap:

:hugs::hugs::hugs:OldSkoool:hugs::hugs::hugs: Damn good eye!!!!! At least it wasn't enough to ruin Wanda!!! And yes - what a surprise in her 5th week of flower! Ever since OMM found his hermie I've been tryin' to watch... but I have poor eyesight and it is a maze of green in the flower room... I may have to rely on prayers too!!!!

And yes - I am helping myself to a bit here and there now. I bet yer Wanda is a lot like the Medijuana - EXTRA WOWSA!!!

hermie ak47
let it grow and harvest the seeds =P
why pay for what you can grow =D

((((((blacken!!!)))))) Great to see ya, honey!!! I'm afraid I agree with MI-grower on the hermie. At first I was super excited and figured God sent me a blessing. I thought I could cross the AK-47 with all my strains and have super strain mixes. But then I thought further... and we all know plants receive their stuff from their parents. A hermie wasn't a trait I wanted to continue. When I cut it down, the stems were hollow. When I saw that I absolutely knew I did the right thing cuz it was not a healthy plant!

OK... images are coming...

A labor of love it is. You will end up with the greatest of rewards for sure. I used to do the 1 gallon at a time thing then decided to mix up in larger batches like 5 gallon buckets or larger storage bins. Its a lot easier to mix and adjust one or 2 big batches veg and bloom than individual ones. I then rigged up a submersible $10 pump with 1/2 inch vinyl hose and made myself a watering hose. Just plugged the pump into a powerstrip and thats my on off switch. Just cut yourself enough tubing to reach all the plants from the bin of water and water em' that way. Dont really have to move the plants around much. Just reach the hose to the tops of the soil and go for a count like 8 seconds and move on to the next. I felt it just made my watering days a whole lot easier.

:hugs::hugs:McBudz:hugs::hugs: You got it exactly right: a labor of love with the greatest of rewards for sure. Hmmm... once again you have given me some food (or water) for thought! I guarantee if I was doing this long-term I'd be making some definite changes for watering procedures! I'll have to think on what I could do... :smokin2: :ganjamon:

((((((siscokid)))))) Ok honey, munch while you scroll thru my latest porn...

Guess I'll start with the first Thai Tanic put to flower (Oct 11th).

Next is a comparison of 3 of the 4 Thai Tanic in the flower room. I love the first Thai Tanic (above), but you can see the girls put in flower at later dates (Oct 19th and 23rd) are outgrowing the first girl.

Then the G13 Haze is a shorter, very fat plant. It is listed as growing short and dense - yes, that is a perfect description.

And a closeup of the growth in one of her G13 haze colas...

And the AK-47's colas are beginning to fill out...

Back in a minute with more...

Blueberry 3 is a very tall lady...
Nov16-BB3.jpg

While Blueberry 2 is much shorter and more stout. I did not LST this plant, but did BB3. I think the blueberry will have a denser structure and fatter nugs if left to just grow upward without LST.
Nov16-BB2.jpg

Blueberry 2's buds and trichs are beginning to saturate like her earlier flowering sister.
Nov16-BB2_BudsAndTrichs.jpg

Blueberry 3 is just saturated everywhere. Her fan leaves - top AND bottom, as shown in the next two images... first the top...
Nov16-BB3_BudsAndTrichs.jpg

then the BB bottom - I hope you can see the bottom of the leaves and the stems... everything on this plant is saturated!

And we'll end the show with White Widow...

First, White Widow buds and trichs in different lighting...

White Widow 2 is the farthest along in development for the WWs. Below is a (blurry) shot of one of her colas, but you can see she is filling out the fullest...

Then, here is the top area of White Widow 3 with a portion of White Widow 2 behind it - these are the shortest two White Widow...
