1st Indoor Grow - 9 Strains - Eek!

Im glad everything is still going great in your world! So i actually missed this part about the hermies... What happened do you think? What strains were they?

And that Thai look oh so good. Huge colas as well!! That will be a fun plant to trim up.

I very much wanted to order some Medijuana, but now I'm a bit worried they are not a stable strain yet????

I really searched all over for them, but the only place I've found them is where you got em. Now I think I'll wait to see if they put out some fem'd ones. That will cost an arm and a leg I'm sure.
A future grow maybe. I think G13 is the one that comes closest to it as far as THC goes.

I am having much fun watching your grow, granny! I am sorry to hear about the hermies... but it does show me what to look for if I am ever to encounter one. The trichs on your plants is making me a bit jealous, haha. How long do you figure the widow takes to flower? I've heard 8 weeks, but its just hard to fathom such a strong smoke coming from a 8 week flowering plant

westMIguy The White Widow is supposed to take 8 to 10 weeks. I'm waiting for a 30x loupe so I can really examine the trichs to see where I am with clear, cloudy, or amber (opaque). Today I took some real closeup pics of all 3 of the White Widow's trichs, along with a few other strains. I'm gonna add the White Widow pics here and we can all see if we can tell. Tomorrow is 7 weeks, or day 49 of flowering for all 3. Let's see what everyone else thinks...

The first here is White Widow 2. She began the earliest on budding and has the thickest colas. I think she will be the first to be ready - possibly between weeks 8 and 9...

Next, a couple really cool pics of White Widow 4 trichs. They aren't the best for showing trich color, but I thought they were really awesome shaped images...

And last, a couple of White Widow 3's trichs. Looking at this plant, I feel it will be the last White Widow to be harvested and will probably go to the 10 week mark... two different lighting pics here...

Fun thing about the flash is how it lights up the trich's like laser beams. Those are some fabulous colas going on, you should be very proud of yourself! And every bit of it quality weed.

Back again!!! I have clones of the Medijuana that I intend to grow out... give it a bit and let's see how they do. Maybe I did something to the first that I won't do to these??? Maybe not too... but it is sure worth the try to me!!!

The LD from Barney's Farm is real real real real good too. It is actually called something else (has another letter in it L*D). I'm lovin' what these plants are doing too... and have taste tested. It is supposed to be real good with 24% THC. A cross of Skunk #1 and Mazar. Super aroma - very stinky... and very powerful buzz on my early testing. Trippy, euphoric, yet couchlock deep too. Also has a short flower period at 60 to 65 days - an additional plus.

I think the chronic... the cheese... lol... the G13... the AK... lol... yeah, I guess I'm really lookin' forward to all of em!

More pics and I'll have to get back to everyone else later cuz I'm running out of time and have to water the veg room still before lights out.

so much! Since you were both interested in the Thai Tanic, I'm gonna put the closeup of it's trichs here. To me they look like they are starting to go cloudy, but still a lot of clear. We are at 7 weeks tomorrow and it goes 9 to 12 weeks. As for size, I have 4 Thai Tanics putting on good flowers. The one I keep picturing is the farthest along. Two of the next set to flower are taller. But NONE of them are any taller than any of the White Widows or any other strain in the midst. And all of them can be distinguished by those fat buds.

One last fast message with more images. The trich extreme closeups are on the plants that are soonest to come to harvest. Then a bit of cola pics from some other strains I haven't featured as much.

First, the trichs closeup on LD3. We are on day 48 of flower with a harvest time of 60 to 65 days. I think it is starting to turn cloudy, but lots of clear too.

Then, I'll switch to a younger LD in the flower room. First a top bud shot, then colas...

The above LD is sure not the short stocky plant that the first one was!

Then let's go to the G13 Haze. It is real hard to get a good image of this plants colas cuz it's so dense...

And I find the AK-47 colas are distinguishable from all the others cuz of it's shape. The first pic is of colas from the taller AK-47 and the second is from the shorter AK...

All the Super Nova Chronic are doing real nicely too. Here are a couple colas from SN7..

And last, just a mixed shot of a little of the flower room, featuring a Blueberry in the front...

This journal has some of the best reading I have encountered here on 420magazine. I finally got through all 435 posts to get myself current and this had been one of the most enjoyable reads. I found myself chuckling through out with LOTS of info I picked up on. All I can say 420granny is YOU ROCK. I am currently suscribed to about 10 journals but after reading yours and finally being current, I will be moving on to about 10 more other grows that posted here. OldSkoool honey! What a compliment!!! It took me a bit to figure out how to do macro images with my camera (let's me get a 1cm distance), but then to get the trich closeups it is editing of the original pic to crop a small portion of the pic and then save it as it's own image. I've done a lot of graphic work on net images, so the experience helps. But thank you so very much!!!

Ray Gunn so much for those wonderful comments!!! I am a bit windy at times, so it had to have taken awhile to catch up here! I do hope others find some helpful info AND get a good laugh at times! And I'm so glad you are gonna visit my support crew... there are some really awesome grows out there by all of them. If not for other's grows... granny wouldn't be here. How about you? Love Boris' yawning! He looks like he was a fine boy. I've loved a number of critters over the years myself, but it is really special when ya get such a good one and God blesses ya with them for a number of years. We had our old gal, Scootie (or "Scoot and a half" in the winter cuz she always added a few pounds), a Brittany Spaniel, for almost 14 years when we had to put her down last year. I cried many times daily for months. It's amazing how our lives revolve around them. I still miss her.

But back to the GOOD STUFF! Thank you so much for the wonderful comments and let us all know if you have, or start, a journal! And to my 420 family!!!!!

berrydizzle and so much! Yes, it has been a lot of work... but I think the real hard time to keep up with it all is coming up next... harvesting what's ready (begins in Dec) while still keeping veg clones growing, LSTing, watering, and continuing to add plants to the flower room for as long as I can (thru Jan 27th)... and the Holiday Season get togethers... and my business picks up in December... yes, the true test is soon to arrive! EEK!!!
