1st Hydro Grow - Problem

Hello!

I Would love to get some advice from fellow growers. I’ve been growing in soil for some years but now im trying my first hydro attempt with Wilma drip system.

Temps 26c
Ph 5.8
Using FloraDuo nutrients by GHE both grow & bloom 5ml/10l
I also have big airstones at my reservior.
Watering time 2x15min a day
Lights 20/4
400w HPS

could anyone give me advice? Thank you very much in advance.. Any help is appreciated!

I usually hold off from the nutrients until they are 2-3 weeks old. Don't know how close your 400 watt hps is but to me that seems like a lot for such a young lady.

Start slow and add gradually.

thank you for info, i put my watering timer now on for every 4 hours (15min) and right after that they took off. And it helps keep humidity up. 2 times a day with clays its too dry.. My nutes are GHes remoccendations for seedling, very low. Mayby adding just plain water when water level drops little. New leaf are looking much better now when i raised lights. Maybe i should start journal too..

It looks like over feeding, step the ppms back to like 200-300 also keep that hps far away if you arent already, seedlings dont need as many lumens. Cheers

I have wilma and it's amazing once you dial it in also i had problems

Firstly I suggest start in a small piece of rockwool and let some roots develop

I changed the drippers to pipe rings with holes, plant develops better root system not one sided start with a small ring, do not wet the rockwool if using.

Your watering schedule 15 mins twice a day is too low especially if you have direct high ppfd, check with app like tent buddy and adjust. I let my pump run 24hrs

Make sure your clay pebbles is ultra rinsed Niagra falls style.

Use enzymes like senzyime. Or system will clog up.
Root booster like jungle juice helps.

Lower your res temp below 25.

Set pH 5.5.. and let it drift up to 6 and reset 5.6...5.7

Monitor ppms/e.c see if the plant is feeding and try to find sweet spot with e.c

These are all a must if you want good results.
