1st Grow, RainForest 318, 400W HID, Chronic Haze, Yumbolt47, California Dream

It works it works. So the 318 lid kit with everything is 75 bucks. not to bad. I will have to pick that up for the next go around. Your plants are loooking great for only a month.

Looks like the girls might be going into flowering stretch now. I'm figuring even if they double in height I'll be OK on headroom at this point.

Here's a comparison of them taken 24 hrs apart:

Thanks for sharing your grow with us!

I'm moving this to completed journals now per your request.

Hope all is well in your world.

Love and respect from all of us here at 420 Magazine!

Gracias. I'll slip in stuff about the new grow if any questions pop up, and I've got pics from the beginning if anyone wants to see the RainForest or how the 3 strains are growing (3 completely different ways, it turns out).

At the moment, the Blueberry is way ahead on bud development (the others don't really have any developing bud sites that I can see) and is about 3 feet high. The Kandy Kush is just over a foot high. Still looks like a bonsai, although I rigged up a T5 on it and it's beginning to move vertically now. The Super Lemon Haze is about 6 inches shorter than the BB, and is beautiful. Dark green and the leaves look like sativa. It's also keeping a relatively narrow profile (not branching out sideways much at all), which is what I was looking for in all of them. I'll put up a couple of current pics later today.

Excellent B!

Thanks for sharing. Yesterday I just ordered up some SLH, so I'm excited to watch yours grow. Can't decide whether I'm going to run them in the ebb-n-grow, or setup a flood table with T5HO lights as you. It's going to get hot this summer, so I'm just concerned about keeping temps manageable.

I'll be on the lookout for some pics!

Thanks again man!

SF, my main goal of this grow is to start figuring out what will be the best strain for the Ebb n Gro that I plan to get this summer. I'm trying out the 12/12 from seed for the same reason: I want to do 12 at once and don't want plants getting too wide or too tall. If I can get them to do that without training it'll be a great help. You'll see in the pics that of the 3 strains, the SLH looks about perfect for one of those Ebb n Gro buckets. Of course we're only halfway through the grow so far, so anything can happen.

On that note, I'm hoping that the KK turns out to be a big producer while staying extra short. I don't think that's likely, though.

We're definitely on the same page man! Originally I started with 10 plants in my e-n-g. LUCKILY, four ended up being Male. So right now I'm working with 6 plants the size of Little Shop of Horrors. I'm cool on the height with 7 foot ceilings, minus 18" for light and light mover, but the amount of side branches is really not conducive to my "closet" grow. I'm glad you're doing a 12/12, I've always wanted to try this out, but not "waste" seeds that cost some $$$. I'm glad you're "taking" one for the team here. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks B. I'm with you for the duration!

OK, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning... :rasta:

Here are some pics taken just before lights out today:

The grow:

Here's the Kandy Kush, hidden behind the 2 taller plants. Note the small T5 dedicated to help it:

The Super Lemon Haze top - still lagging behind the Blueberry, but my favorite so far:

The Blueberry top - this is going to be a producer:

And the Kandy Kush top - it's actually a little ahead of the SLH in development, if not size:

Plants look really great B!!!

I'm really impressed/interested in how tall that one strain grew from 12/12.

This definitely looks a little more manageable for the RainForest, at this point.

Love the BB, been hearing great things about that one. Also the SLH, PitViper keeps saying that is his all-time favorite so far. He's mentioned that several of his patient(s) have complained of heart palpitations from that one.

Everything looks fantastic. Have a great weekend B!

Thanks for the update! Really appreciate it.

Here's what I have going on. I wanted to scrog but I made a few mistakes 1 being I topped and the other the screen is too low. The stems are turning into little tree trunks so I can not really work them around as much as I would like. I think I will have much better control then last go around but not total control by any means. I will still train them some but with this many tops theres no where to go but the sides of the screen. I am about to flip to 12/12 so hopefully fill the screen before any take over. Your 3 are looking good...
