1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL & LED Grow Tent

Re: 1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL and LED Grow tent.

You can check run off pH level with the same kit you use to check for water that goes in.

The kit I have is a color matching kit. I figured the runoff would be a little muddy no? Also adding nutes would change the color?
I'll have a look right now for proper testers....

Re: 1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL and LED Grow tent.

So i just opened the tent to have a look at the girls today. They are looking great, I think they have gotten bigger since yesterday. I got my first wiff of weed from them too. Not sure if its both that are starting to smell or one. I'll check tomorrow when i pull them out to take pics.
Was a nice surprise and just confirms things are working :)

Re: 1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL and LED Grow tent.

My Power Flower, when thirsty, smells like fruit. When I open tent it smells like sweet fruit salad. Last time I watered her I think I spent like 5 minutes smelling and admiring the smell, even spaced out for a moment. At one point it got so sweet that it started to get bitter in the throat.

Re: 1st Grow - Bubblelicious CFL and LED Grow tent.

temps are a little low usually wanna keep them above 70
and never wait for your plant to be lacking start nutes at a very reduced rate and slowly increase them its easy to back off or skip a feeding them to get nutes into a deficient plant. yes your plants are relitivly close in size now but your auto will outstreach the photo plant in the next couple of weeks in my exp.
but looking good so far.

LOL when cutting last year I threw a piece of stalk my Boxer went and grabbed it and was running around with it. I didn't realize and a cop came to my door about a noise complaint the dog goes runnin out my front door and is running around the front yard so the cop takes the "stick" from his mouth and is playing with my dog telling me how beautiful he is, this is when I realize that that is not just a stick.
he then hands it to me and says have a nice day. I bring my dog in and had a mini heart attack.

Ok, If someone can help me out here or point me in the right direction.....

When I start feeding the girls their nutes, Looks like I will be using 1 tsp of Big Bloom, and 1 tsp of Grow Big (as opposed to the 3 tsp Fox Farms suggests at first).
So would I add each nute to a different gallon of water or do you use one gallon? Also, if 2 gallons, do you use both gallons on one plant? Confused...

You can separately add each ingredient into the same container of water. What most liquid fertilizers don't want you to do is mix the fertilizers together before adding to the water, unwanted checmical reactions can occur that can significantly alter the available nutrients that your plants can uptake.

Well, I think I found half my answer. So i will add 1tsp of Big Bloom in one gallon of water, mix well, then add 1tsp of Grow Big in the same gallon of water and mix well.

So now do i use the whole gallon on one plant? or can both girls share the one gallon?

It all depends on how big the pots are, the stage of the grow, the size of the plant, etc. as to how much water to give them. If you water until runoff for each plant, they should be fine. It may be a slightly different amount for each plant. As long as your plant isn't wilting too badly, it should be fine, regardless of how dry you think the soil is.

Thanks CH, That makes lots of sense.
