1st Grow: Blue Dream

I dunno about you Magoo, but I smoke a lot less weed since joining this community. Everytime I wanna smoke a fatty a new post gets my attention. My coffee goes cold more now than ever before. Nothing ever gets twisted in time so I end up bowling. I have to put some downtime in just to get some downtime.

Does growing outdoors alter your nutrient scheduling? Like if you get some rainy days and haven’t fed them any in a while do you just hold off until they are dry? Or do you pull them out of the elements if you know it’s coming and might interfere with some needed nutrients

Haha! Yes I know what you mean. I actually don’t smoke much in all honesty. I go through seasons where I smoke pretty heavily and others where I could pass a test. I’ve rather enjoyed vaping juice lately. When I smoke flower it’s usually only a puff or 2. That’s why I like the good stuff. Lol. I want to make those puffs count. Haha. But I imagine my smoking is about to take a turn very soon! Lol.

Usually wait til they are about this size before i go outdoor
LOL! Which one? Since autos only really veg for 25-35 days I want them to get maximum umols as early as possible.

I would bring them in if you had warning. If they end up getting pissed on, consider it a mid-grow flush!

I am leery about putting babies that small out because it only takes one determined bug to end it lol
Maybe I can do a little of both. Keep her outside while I’m here and can keep an eye out and keep her in the window while I’m gone.

At least until she is up potted.

Reckon it depends on the auto bean at Shed. I prefer photos for the most part but autos are a game changer outdoors. Start them up inside in March and harvest in June way before the birds start flying. Bigger pots seem to equal longer veg time with the autos also foliar feed them and give them 24/7 if you want them big in veg. Was told never transplant autos . Which of course i had already done with my first auto run hahaha. #Toolate. Got their number now though.

That was what kinda motivated me to make the little transplant cup. Thought that would make it minimally invasive so to speak. Ive gotten a lot of different information when it comes to the autos. I really don’t know what to do honestly. I had to get her going because I wanted her to finish before frost. Not sure that will happen but I can always bring her in if it is getting close. So I needed to start her ASAP. And my new pots aren’t coming till Friday. After talking to y’all today I may not wait till day 20 to transplant. I may do it as soon as I can. Until then I will probably try to keep her outside as much as I can so that when she gets in her big pot I can hopefully just leave her out there then. She will be in foxfarm ocean forest soil so I may not really have to add any nutes for a bit except maybe a little calmag. I am also tempted to maybe use some micro doses of a couple foxfarm organic products...the microbe brew and the root drench. Thoughts on that? I’m thinking like maybe 1/8th strength for the first month.

Your plant is obviously too young, but plants love the nitrogen created by lightning storms. My girl loved getting her hair whipped around yesterday and from todays pics she's happier than a pig in...high brix? I guess I run like Shed does in a way where if it's meant to be it's meant to be. It's like the flushing...outside of a tidal wave how often do real plants get flushed by MN herself? When mine was young I used common sense like yourself and just protected her from the elements. Now she perks up when a storm's coming and says bring it on baby!

A little bit of shade is good if it spent the first few days inside. I'm transitioning my AK clone from CFL to full sun over the course of a week.

...I was going to say the same...a lil' hardening is a good thing with young plants...as well, protection from any more severe weather events...i.e. wind, rain, or God forbid...Hail, would be recommended...take care of them when they're young...they'll take care of you when they're older...;)...cheerz...h00k...:rollit::passitleft:
