1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kindsoil

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

Now if she chooses to do her own journal or not is a whole different question. Maybe she will throw pictures up on mine

That’s awesome dude, dual journals in the Stank household!

Well, she has to pick the strain first and I don't think she will start until the new year because we aren't sure what the holiday plans are going to be and if we go away we can't have a grow going.

Flower Day 25 - Day 18 with Hairs

We are continuing on cruise control right now. I will need to water tomorrow. I am getting a lot of yellowing on lower leaves on the ATF 2 plant. Thats the plant that was showing major yellowing from the light stress. I am wondering if all the Calcium and Magnesium that was in the KindSoil is gone. I think I will start feeding that plant more Cal-Mag. I am not seeing any yellowing on any of the plants in my Stank Soil. Buds are continuing to put on a little more size and frost up a bit more.

This is the cola that I believe I accidentally pollinated. Look closely and see red hairs.

Those ATF are very exotic looking, you wouldnt think they originated in Alaska.

24hrs of sun is insane, it's short, but a great grow season

My buddy grew some years ago, was epic smoke
And the vegetables where insane, huge and tasty

ATF is one of those amazing strains that you really can't describe to people, you just gotta smoke it. But if I had to put a finger on a single greatest ancestor, i'd say it's very close to skunk.

They are really a gorgeous plant. The more and more I look at the last picture I posted, the more I want to blow up and frame that overhead shot. Has really amazed me how different the 4 strains I am growing are in appearance and smoke. A Truly fascinating plant!!!

Everything in Alaska is bigger!! Such a cool place. I would love to live there!

Thats crazy but continuous sun sounds awesome for growing.

Hell yeah, though would certainly make sleeping a challenge. I like my dark to sleep.

They are looking great. Nice work!

Thanks Neil, I appreciate that. I am pretty happy so far. Now just gotta deal with that yellowing issue

Looking good Van. Pretty young bud. Yellowing at bottom is N. :Namaste:

Hey BL, thanks brother. I wasn't sure if it was N or related to the light stress earlier. Any recommendations on minimizing it? The plant is the one that was in the Kind Soil. I think the fact I had to veg a whole month longer than I intended is playing into that in conjunction with the sheer number of tops she has on .her. She definitely got way bigger than I ever intended. Had I known she was going to go that long in veg and be that big, I would have had her in 7 or 10 gallon pots for sure

Yeah I definitely struggle to describe the smell on her. She is a gorgeous strain and great for pain.

I've heard that ATF is very therapeutic strain. May have to look into running some. Pay alaska it's prosper respects .

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

Damn Thats budtastic! They are really looking good! Great job :)

Thanks NS!! I was just comparing pictures from day 25 of the first grow (Page 31 of 110) for anyone interested on the web version (not sure on the app). They certainly look bigger on the DP and ATF. Blue Kush looks about the same.

Was a northern Cali strain that was crossed with a Russian ruderalis and eventually bred with afghani. Did your blueberry get pollinated with DP or ATF? Cause poison blueberry would be cool as hell bro!

It was pollinated with ATF. I certainly want to get a stud Durban male to do some Durban crossing though!! I think that would be a great strain and one I already have on my to do list

You really should give it a try. They have a ton of side branching and are a good strain for scrogs. Not a strain you want to run without support for bud weight. Was certainly the highest yielding strain of the four I ran.

Sounds like you got it figured out that the Kind soil N got used up due to your delays. Won't hurt but good indicator on state of plant. Add some mild N or some aminos if you use it. :Namaste:

What would you suggest. I watered earlier today and I used a little bit of organic fish fert (had a little nitrogen 2-8-3) and bit of Cal Mag. I don't really ever add much so don't have much N to pick from to add to the soil I don't mind having to pick something up from the grow store.....just not really sure what I should use that is an organic fast acting N. Anyone else want to weigh in, please feel free.

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

The 2% N number should be perfect. Love fish fertilizer. Fast acting too. Likely won't green up those already yellow, but you'll feel good knowing you've fixed it. :Namaste:

Yeah the fast acting is why I keep it around. Its the only thing I ever used to use was fish ferts on fruit and veggies. I will keep watering her with that and maybe look at some teas that might aid in that.
