1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kindsoil

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

I made this epic self watering system, rain barrel timer, sweat water hoses...freaking great, $100 easy......

Now I use Hempy and don't need it...lol......

Kids I tell ya..we never learn

Hey Van, get a 4' t5 along the back..hang it like 2' from the back, easy to do, tie a string to left back corner, loosely on right side corner, drop the light down, loop the string over the light lines, pull string till light is against back wall....done!!!!!!

the issue I have is the tent can't be moved without me moving the whole bed that sits next to it in the room. So I can't access either of the two side openings in how the room is set up. So hanging anything in the back of the tent with the girls in Scrog is impossible for me. I would really need to be able to take out all the plants in order to realistically get back there. Its something I will definitely consider for future grows though. I am just going to have to roll with what I have for this grow. (think of a small room with about 4.5 feet at the foot of the bed, thats where my tent is and the only access is the front main zipper)

Breeding update - WE HAVE LIFT OFF. Opened up the breeding tent after its 12 hour nap and I see burst pollen sacks. I tapped a branch and a cloud of man seed filled the tent. My girl is now bathing in man seed!!! Girl.....your a woman now!!

Will have pictures up a bit in a bit. Giving a good defoliation to the straircased plants so I can spray them one more time for Johnny. Can't be giving him any infested girls. Will post pictures of everything going on today......the bukkake tent, the main flower tent, and the staircasing. Happy Growing everyone.....remember life is short, put everything we put into our plants into our human relationships.

Flower Day 5

Plants are looking much happier and seem to have fully adjusted to their SCROG. The ATF 2.1 plant looks so much happier and healthier so when I water her tomorrow I will add another dose of Cal-Mag and see if her color will darken up. All the other plants in their Stank Soil look amazing but quite a lot like a jungle!! It getting thick up in there!! They have to hold out for about another 15 days for their 3 week hair cut.

Breeding Tent

Had a great surprise this morning.....saw my first pollen sacks burst on the male I have been keeping around. Definitely seeing a difference in the pollen sacks as they approach "explosion". Gonna give em another week or so before I start trimming branches to harvest the pollen for my cross breeding upstairs. Will pollinate all 4 strains up stairs. Without further delay.....here is my boy spreading his seed!!

And here is the girl he will be blowing his man powder all over! She is starting to put on some size. Let the bukkake begin!!

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

I just wasn't happy with the light coverage in the back corners. So I am doing my best to compensate for it without buying an additional light for that area. I was considering picking up a Perfect Sun Mini for that area, but I don't want to spend the money.....so it was either the 2' 4-bulb T5 (96 watts) and a pain in the ass to hang, or drop a couple CFLs just to get those areas that didn't have great coverage. I went with what was easiest on my back. (I don't want to even think about trying to twist and turn trying to get that T5 in there with the scrog in full effect.

I have to say, I am really really happy with my soil's maiden voyage/grow. I wasn't expecting my plants to do this well on the initial run. I figured I would have to change some stuff a few times to get it right, but the plants in my Stank Soil are so freaking happy and growing crazy. At this point, I don't know that I am going to change anything, I need the plants to tell they aren't happy with something before I add or take anything away on future mixings. The only thing I might consider adding is some stuff that might prove beneficial against pests.
I wanted to thank you for sharing your soil recipe with me, I know that I too will have fantastic success in the new growth space when I start using your blend. What are your thoughts about additional sources of cal-mag then, seeing as you're adding it now and your plants seem to be liking the extra dos. The only thing I might additionally contribute is the use of the insect frass while mixing. I have been assured that it will be a great amendment to help with fending off unwanted pests throughout the grow. Yet another source of chitin as we discussed.......

Everything looks really fantastic, congratulations on another full tent

Look at that, so awesome that you're already getting to breed.. I'm super jealous, i have around 2 months or so until I can keep males and start collecting pollen. Everything in the flower tent looking stunning as well, great work as always my friend!
:bravo:

I don't know brother. I know that my soil has plenty of both calcium and magnesium. It was the KindSoil that was showing the deficiency (Probably due to light stress of being too close until I changed up the light hanging configuration). I am not going to add any more Cal-Mag to all my plants. I am thinking of running a bit of an experiment on this grow. Three of the plants in the main flower are clones from the same mom. One is huge (the one in the 5 gallon pot growing in KindSoil) so I can't really compare her to the others. But two are about the same size, about the same number tops, growing in the same size pot, in the same Stank Soil so all the factors are right for a side by side comparison.

I think I will add some small amounts of Cal-Mag and some Mammoth P to that plant and leave the other one alone in the soil only. That will let me see any appearance difference, yield difference, taste difference, potency difference, or just any difference together. Essentially can I get great results from the soil without anything additional, as well as figuring out what those additional supplements do to the product. I want my soil to be something I can grow in without needing to add anything.....however, I am not opposed to adding supplements to experiment during the grow. I go back to my initial thoughts.....growing in something that if I am not here, all Ms Stank has to do is water with pH'd water. I don't want her to have to be adding shit and trying to figure out what the plants want or need.

And that my friend is exactly why I am using your recipe..... Ultimate confidence in your soil. Still trying to collect all the Amendments as budget allows along with the build. Did you buy your Roots base organic soil online and have it shipped or was it from local supplier?
