Staircasing Update

Here is an update on the staircasing technique I am working on refining. Its coming along nicely. I have been keeping the height within an inch over the last week as I have increased the canopy size. Again, I haven't topped or done anything other than supercropping after the monster-cropping. I think she is a pretty girl Johnny, I think you will like them both. This is the smaller of the two girls I am playing around with.

Flower Day 1 Update

The girls got 24 hours of darkness yesterday in preparation for today.....DAY 1 of flower. It begins....finally. The plants look like they have adjusted nicely to their scrog and are rising up to challenge. I am going to pick up some Cal-Mag tomorrow and try to start feeding a little bit to the middle plant that looks like it has some yellowish/light greenish to the top leaves and see if that can't help get her back on track.

Not much going to happen for the next week or two, but I will keep posting pics every couple days to show them continuing to grow in the SCROG. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and happy growing!

I hope it helps with that sad looking plant brother. Yeah Ms Stank caught me scratching my nuts and thought it would cute to post as my picture....damn her!

Lmao......

Looking great in there brother. It's more full than my tent and you're on day 1. Soooooo much to do lol.

My girlfriend is really enjoying the effects on the Kings Kush I grew out for her. High CBD low THC if you guys wanna add to the mix.

Yeah I am looking for something like that, which is why I was so excited to find a seed company that was selling ACDC seeds. They don't come in until the end of this month though.

Flower Day 3 Update

Tent is looking better. I watered the sad looking girl last night with a gallon of pH'd water and 1 Teaspoon of Cal-Mag I picked up at the grow store yesterday. WOW!! What a difference in the ATF 2.1 plant today when I looked at her after lights came on. No more drooping. Hope that she greens up like the other plants

Watered all the other girls in the tent today. I added just a little Cal-Mag to the 4.5 gallons of water I used on them. Just curious to see if there is any noticeable difference in them after adding a little Cal-Mag. I know that the soil probably doesn't need it since I know there is plenty of both and at the right ratio. It was more of an experiment than anything.

Going to spray the two plants that I am staircase training again today. Leaves looked good last time I checked, just going to do it to make sure nothing was hiding that I didn't see. Can't be giving someone a plant that might have some hidden mites on them. Anyways, not a lot going on with this tent yet. Probably won't start seeing hairs for another 3-5 days.....then the fun begins. Next watering will be a root drench with the AzaMax for hopefully the last time. I will keep plucking the occasional leaf of each plant and checking for any signs of mite life. If I find any, I will order another batch of predator mites to keep these bastages in check. Let the good times roll brothers and sisters!!

I find it troubling that the plants that you have that just went through that much stress look better than mine LMAO.

That being said, are you trying something new with the supplemental Lighting in the back? Those two CFLs hanging there, I've never noticed them before? And do you use a separate bottle for each plant, I noticed them hanging on your support poles in the back corners.....

I just wasn't happy with the light coverage in the back corners. So I am doing my best to compensate for it without buying an additional light for that area. I was considering picking up a Perfect Sun Mini for that area, but I don't want to spend the money.....so it was either the 2' 4-bulb T5 (96 watts) and a pain in the ass to hang, or drop a couple CFLs just to get those areas that didn't have great coverage. I went with what was easiest on my back. (I don't want to even think about trying to twist and turn trying to get that T5 in there with the scrog in full effect.

I have to say, I am really really happy with my soil's maiden voyage/grow. I wasn't expecting my plants to do this well on the initial run. I figured I would have to change some stuff a few times to get it right, but the plants in my Stank Soil are so freaking happy and growing crazy. At this point, I don't know that I am going to change anything, I need the plants to tell they aren't happy with something before I add or take anything away on future mixings. The only thing I might consider adding is some stuff that might prove beneficial against pests.

Me too brother. I can't tell you how my bending over, picking up these plants every other day, bringing them down stairs, spraying, and bending back over and putting them back in the tent, bothers my back. Back to using the drip lines for watering as well, so much easier and faster....especially using brand new drip line hose instead of 3 year old stuff I had lying around.

I made this epic self watering system, rain barrel timer, sweat water hoses...freaking great, $100 easy......

Now I use Hempy and don't need it...lol......

Kids I tell ya..we never learn

Hey Van, get a 4' t5 along the back..hang it like 2' from the back, easy to do, tie a string to left back corner, loosely on right side corner, drop the light down, loop the string over the light lines, pull string till light is against back wall....done!!!!!!
