1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kindsoil

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

Many variables in how grown & when harvested but true Chem 4 is ~60/40 S/I. Real Chems are very mentally lifting & invigorating, not couch lock or sleepy strain. :Namaste:

Well this was listed as Indica dominant and it certainly seemed that way. It was so potent that the 1st time I smoked it, on vacation in Tennessee, that I struggled to get out of the hot tub. I couldn't get my body to respond to urge to get up. Took me about 5 minutes to manage to get my ass out of that tub. I dried off, went inside, threw on some shorts, sat on the couch and ate a few oreo cookies and passed out.....all in about 40 from start to passing out.

I didn't smoke any more of that 8th until I blew out my back....about a year and half later. Stuff still kicks my ass.

Haha good story, damn kept it for that long.. must be some good stuff then lol. Gimme gimme

Not sure where you are, but if you were near by, I would gladly give you what I have. LOL, I have some UW Purple too that is some serious couch lock indica as well, and some Lemon Skunk that is a Sativa Dominant hybrid (supposedly). None of those are anywhere as smooth as my stuff. I should try one of them again (the older stuff I bought) after smoking my stuff regularly for the last 2 months.

Maybe its not organic then.. cant wait to see the differences between organically grown bud and what im growing now.

Well I know they taste like shit compared to my organic stuff. My brother grows commercially as well as recreationally (from his house) and all his stuff tastes like crap and is so harsh compared to mine. Such a difference to me.

Organic for consistent best flavors, taste & terps. Synthetics can match when done by high level grower talent, but not common. Less chemicals may help your sinus type ailments toasted. Organic more medicinal from packing bud w/ minerals over water based nutes. :Namaste:

Love the sound of that and just found an organic local supplier of Biochar on the weekend. My soil amendments are really coming together now. Monsieur Stank, how much did you say that recipe or list is gonna make? I'm definitely upping my pot size next grow as well. Also ordered my Insect Frass on Friday.

The initial mix up that I did netted me about 45 gallons. Then when I recycled the soil from my harvest, that put another 15 gallons (roughly) into the mix. I essentially emptied my 45 gallons out on the tarp, spread the 15 gallons of used soil back onto the initial 45 gallons, mixed it all together well for about 15 minutes, sprayed lightly with some water and then put it back in their trashcans for some more cooking. It cooked about 20 more days (on top of the initial 30 days) with the recycled soil, for about 60 gallons of soil (two 20 gallon trash can and four 5 gallon buckets completely full). I used about 15 gallons in this grow so I still have about 45 gallons left.

How's the back today Van?

Did ya try a half pill

I did not try a half a pill last night. Back wasn't bothering me too badly last night and I smoked some Blueberry and that did me good. I will safe the pills for the rare occasion that the spasms kick in high gear.

Grow Update Pre-Scrog

I know things have moved kind of slowly here for the last month while I battled these pesky mites. So I figured I would show you three of my ATF plants as I brought them outside to spray. These plants were all clones taken about 21 days into flower. They took a while to re-veg but when they did, they exploded with shoots all over the place. I didn't train these at all other than to spread them out a touch with tying them down. All three of them stand about 38 inches from the top of the pot. They are all being grown in my homemade Stank Soil.

ATF 1.1 - probably has some of the prettiest leaves I have seen on any of my plants. I know you can't see them here, but I will take pictures tonight after they wake up and before I put them in SCROG

ATF 2.2 - Probably my favorite plant in terms of how its grown with no training. She has 14 main colas coming up from the bottom and is starting to develop some nice side branching up near the top.

ATF 2.3 - Nothing special about her. She has a good number of main colas from below, roughly 16 and lots of side branching at the top.

An addition I put in for this grow is a secondary watering means. I took regular green 1/4" tubing and drilled small holes through it so if I need to water with AZAMAX or Recharge or anything that might clog the drip line, I can.

Sweet setup, I like the diy drip rings. It's about time I tabbed up another one for my seedlings. Those three ATFs are gonna perform well in a scrog. I'm patiently waiting the demise of all bastards so we can watch you do your magic!

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

Looking good bud, how long have they been veging..

Thats a tough question to answer......Like I said above, I took them from flowering plants. They rooted quickly (to me) at about 9 or 10 days (Ms Stank and I were away for the weekend so we aren't sure which day they appeared). When I transplanted them into small pots in soil, they took a good while to re-veg. Right now.....they are probably about 3 months from when I transplanted them into their initial pot, but about 2-3 weeks maybe longer to re-veg (don't really know, as I didn't really keep a good record of their transition). They exploded with growth like nothing I have ever seen when they did finally re-veg. I would say 2 legit months and some change of actual vegetative growth, but about 3 months total.

They are way too tall for my liking. My tallest plant in flower last cycle was about 30 inches. These are already 38 inches from the top of the containers and they haven't even stretched yet. I will gain back some of the height when Ms Stank and I put them in Scrog tonight, just not sure how much height I will gain back.

Luckily my Durban, Blue Kush and Blueberry plants aren't nearly as tall.

Re: 1st Grow - Alaskan Thunderfuck x4 - Durban Poison - Blue Kush & Blueberry In Kind

I didn't top or FIM a single plant this time because of the crazy re-vegetative growth. I kind of wanted to see what they would do on their own. I am definitely intrigued with the differences in clones and how they grow between being taken in veg vs being taken in flower. Something I will check out again in the future. I only have the ATFs to see so far but there is definitely a difference. I will show you the other two ATF 2s (ATF 2.4 and ATF 2.5) that were taken from flower as well. I have them growing on my work table under my big T5. I kept them in case I had issues with the mites that damaged the plants too much to flower them out. I was going to give these two girls to someone until the mites were found. They are going to be monsters as well. Probably just going to throw them away since I don't have the space or time to do another ATF run after this run finishes.

Interesting thing about those two is the training method I kind of stumbled on because of the height restriction under the T5. I won't comment too much on it, but its something I am going to play around with and see how they turn out. All I will say is I have nicknamed it "Staircasing". I will try to keep documenting it and then perhaps try a full on "staircasing" grow in the future. Going to try main-lining on the sponsored Nukehead grow.
