Thanks Growchy. I know what you mean but its still flattering and a shock. Like when you asked why you don't see pictures of my nugs in the contests and I responded that I am not really a contest guy...well that was really the truth. I am truly a blessed man. I have a great woman that walks beside me in everything I do and she is my everything. I have great friends and family, I have my health, I have so much I am thankful for......entering contests to win a prize just wasn't my thing. I really am one of those people that enjoys giving to others far more than receiving.

Mr Vex was kind enough to gift me a FREAKING HUGE nugget of his acclaimed Catalina. She is a massive massive nugget for sure (Seriously, can't wait to grow one that big) and definitely had that Kush scent to her. I smoked a nice big bowl of her tonight in my bong. She is definitely a nice evening time strain. I could see smoking her and watching a movie or playing some video games. A very relaxing smoke with a nice body buzz. Thanks BL. I haven't seen too many place have any of Tasty Treat seeds in stock. Gonna have to add them to my Seeds bookmarks. I am looking forward to trying the ATF x Durban and the ATF x Blueberry. I'm crossing my fingers my Platinum Girl Scout Cookies x Cherry OG took my Blackberry Kush pollen. I had LITERALLY a few grains of it. Tried to mix it in with corn starch as a carrier, but I don't think I let it dry enough before freezing it, because it was all clumpy. Still crossing my fingers though

So far I have never gotten much pollen off reversing with colloidal silver. I'm hoping to get more when I do it this time around, but I'm not sure how I'm go about it since I have three different plants I want to reverse, and 3 different ones I want to pollinate, and don't want them to get crossed. I'm thinking I'll try to setup some kind of cardboard box partitions for them and keep the wind blowing in such a direction that it only blows the pollen back towards its intended recipient, or I might just segregate females from males, not sure yet.

Kind of the downside about feminized seeds is you gotta use colloidal silver to get pollen

Yeah you will need to do something to keep it separate. Partition for a day....then spray everything with water. The water will kill any active pollen that hasn't 'taken'. Generally its accepted that most pollination is completed within 30min to an hour but I like the idea of giving any stray grains some time to find some open pistils and make me a baby before I go giving everyone a shower to kill the stray grains. Keep them separated for a time period you are comfortable with and then spray the hell out of it with water. It will kill any stray grains and keep unwanted cross pollination from happening.

Also I am not sure how you are sitting financially but if you are serious about playing around with selfing a plant, I would take a closer look at using STS instead of CS. STS (Silver Thiosulfate ) seems to be much less stressful to the plant and more successful and far less labor intensive than using CS........but it isn't cheap.

I paid eleven dollars for the sodium thio and seven for the silver nitrate. That's pretty damned cheap if you but the raw and mix up yourself. It also goes a looooooong way.
