1080w LED Inferno

I sympathize. That last batch I had went 6 weeks too long - just in flower. But the final product was fine. I just let the plants say when to finish and they treat me ok.

:peace:

Damn Irish your like odysseys of 420mag just trying to get home to smoke some bud. Heat, bugs, and nearly a fiery death ( or was that last grow). If one day your in your grow room and you hear beautiful music coming from outside and you go out to see 3 beautiful 6ft colas. Turn right around and go back inside and keep on to get to your own beautiful colas. :tokin:

yup tonight i will go 11/13 for about a week or so then try 10/14 if things arnt flowering still. seems allot of sativas flower allot better under these times. they will finish faster and lose some yield but its worth it to me to be able to finish this grow ASAP and start over with a different strain.
Fingers crossed, Lucky penny polished, money cat in the window, rabbits foot..on.

I will put a few more pics just before we pull down at week 8..

Hope your week off is going good..:smokin:

Nice !!!
What are the stats on those girls, strain, clone/seed, light mfg. & how many watts?

Wow thats amazing!. What a beautiful grow and the plants look so crystallized!!! Keep up the good work!!

I hope that my Spectra led's are working as well for you as you expected...

What are the stats on those girls, strain, clone/seed, light mfg. & how many watts?

The strain is Blueberry from the Dutch Passion seed co.. We've had it for aprox 10 years. We used to clone the Diamond in the rough (mother plant) that was found from the first run of regular seeds (male and female).. Then after about 6 or so years of cloning her I decided we had stressed her enough and thought since she never turned hermie on us, the next step is to Feminize her. This accomplished a number of things.. One thing feminizing the mom did was allow us to convert our clone/mom area into a 12/12 area.. So basically we run two 12/12 areas start to finish..

So these particular girls are 12/12 from a "feminized" blueberry seed grown DWC SOG lolly pop style..lol... There's aprox 46 lolly popped girls in a 32"x32" area using one of Mikes 300w GrowLedHydro units on a light mover.. The girls are first started under a 8 tube 6500K T5 setup. They stay under the T5 setup for 4 weeks then the girls were moved under the GLH 300w led unit for the remaining 8 weeks.. The pics are 6 of the 8 week flowering time.

Hope that helps tell a little story behind the pics....

I hope that my Spectra led's are working as well for you as you expected...

Mike bro..... You know I'm saving every penny I can get my hands on ..... So I Can Get Another GLH 300w Light...lol

These led units IMO are performing as good as my HPS setup has with less heat and electricity used.. As you can see from the pics. My strain under LED's for whatever reason gets a cal/mag def.. But even with this cal/mag deficiency I think from the looks of things It's still going to yield as much as my 400w HPS setup has in the past..

We didn't fix the cal/mag issue this run because we figured this would be a good control run..It will be interesting to see the girls with the cal/mag issue resolved under these GLH led's.. We shall see...

Also under the 400w HPS DWC setup we got away with running around 1500 ppm.. It seem under your 300w LED unit I'm getting leaf tip burn at aprox 900 ppm.. So next run we will shoot to keep it at 600 to 700 ppm and see how it goes.. Although this leaf tip burn situation could be the result of me running the led light aprox 8 inches from the canopy IDK...lol

But yeah your lights are Rockin bro...

Nice grow dog!

46 plants in 32 X 32", wow! :adore:

What size containers and media?

lol...2 inch net pots w/sunshine mix #4. That's how we pop the seeds.

Then we drop them into two 41qt underbed totes, DWC style. They only hold 6 gallons of water at a time, But since it's 12/12 from a seed it works realy well.

I got some pics of the setup.. Sorry I should of posted them... Here they are..
We use two of these units side by side..

We top water these girls for about a week to 10 days then they get the neoprene insert put in and then dropped into the DWC units under a different T5 lighting setup below for the rest of the 4 weeks.

Nice setup dog, thanks for the pics.

So, just to get this straight, you're running two of those totes in each tent?

That has to be one of the most efficient uses of space I've seen. I like the low-profile totes. How often do you need to add/change nutes once they get into bloom?

Sorry for the somewhat off-topic questions peeps, but this style of grow really lends itself to LED's, so it's not that off-topic.

Having two 12/12 environments like that may be the direction I'm heading in. It's such a flexible and productive setup.

Yes and a light mover above.. The light mover moves the light itself aprox 2 feet maybe a little more.

We add one gallon or so each week to each unit. Then in late bloom this strain needs aprox 1 1/2 gallons per week..

As far as changing water. I try to make sure it's done at least every two weeks, other growers will do it every week.. Believe it or not I've done multi grows start to finish (of course this was under a HPS setup) without changing nutes just adding full strength then flushing at the end.. Personally I thought that was fine, but of course that's just me.. So as with any grow/grower it will depend on your liking/strain..

Yes IMO having the femmed seeds is the best way to do this method.. I just start them right out 12/12 and away they grow...... 12 weeks later the 're done.. It's the simplest system I've run to date.... Yeah were talkin way back to the 80's here folks...lol

For the cycle grower (like myself) 12/12 from a seed lends itself to 3 12/12 rooms.. Pull one every 4 weeks eather by cycling the girls room to room or actuly having 3 (full bloom) 12/12 rooms..

Soon my friends, soon...:smokin:

SS if your interested in a DIY Colloidal Silver generator, hit me up...I'm sure this is right up you ally my friend..

WTF dogs; i swear about every week i see new methods i want to try. So many buds and options so little time! I think ur over the "legal" limit in any state LMFAO :) :lot-o-toke:

Kewl beans :)
What do you think the minumum height requirment to run them like this is?
I have some low ceiling areas I've been thinking of different methods to grow in those areas.
I'm gonna have to pick up a few 180watter models from GLH sometime soon ;)

lol..Not quite.. Each patient in MI is allowed 12 girls. I care give for 4 patients.. 12x4= 48... Just checkin the math..

I can care give for 5 patients plus myself for a total of 72 girls in my state..

It's one of the only good things about living in the state that looks like a big mitten.. Also if you like to fish or hunt your in heaven here...:grinjoint:

I try to keep mine under 2 feet... They have stretched before using a hybrid HPS setup, up to 3 feet.. That's way to tall for my setup. All the girls fell over.. pretty much trashed a full crop.. But this run all the girls are below the 2 foot mark.. Perfect IMO for my setup..

The good thing about Mikes GLH lights is.. They grow bushy girls and then the stretch is limited when switched to flowering, at least it was with my strain.. So short stocky girls is what this light grows.. Perfect for a lolly pop SOG setup..:grinjoint:

Nice 12 plants per patient is awesome. Which gets me to thinking which state has the most "Patient Friendly" MMJ laws? I heard on the news recently someone in RI was arrested for too many plants. I imagine if and when they legalize in Cali they will make it illegal to grow and let Businesses become the main supplier.
