1080w LED Inferno

I have access to all of those Miracle Grow-scotts products. I will be trying them all out eventually! Including what you have just mentioned, Irish.

I used to use 10-60-10 stuff, and I think it was scotts, or something very similar.

ya i want to try their 10-16-10 bloom prills. i just have to find a bottle and see if it has cal/mag and stuff like that in it. not just a NPK

as allot of you guys i am also getting tired of spending big bucks on plant food and boosters. i am thinking of giving this a try and seeing how it works. i bet it will work just as good as Bud Blaster or Chia ching for a fraction on the cost.
Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Bloom Booster Flower Food - Scotts Miracle-Gro

please give feed back on how you think this will work for the end of flowering the NPK sounds about right.

i was also thinking of using this for the beginning and mid flowering Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed Continuous Release Bloom Booster Flower Food - Scotts Miracle-Gro

i think you dont have to mix it in the soil all over you could just shake it on top then when u water it will run down into the medium? its a Continuous Release.

any opinions would be more then thankful.

Hey Irish, I used to use both of those (or whatever was similar that they made way back when :)) when I grew outdoors. I just sprinkled the stuff on the ground.

They made nice tight buds. Several times they made 'em too tight. When it was exceptionally humid, I did get some bud rot.

I also got some kind of bud caterpillar that liked only the densest buds. Worked from the inside out, very hard to see until the bud fell apart.

Overall, though, I felt I came out ahead with boosters.

:goodluck:

thanks allot for the feed back! did you have any health issues with the plants using this stuff like cal/mag def or anything? i was just thinking of using the MG- bloom shake food just as a base nute then still add my additives.

To be honest, I don't know. I probably did, but there a so many other variables outside, it was hard to tell. Plus, I was using well water, which has plenty of cal/mag. I was also using Peters 20/20/20 as a base nute. Some Miracid for molybdenum, when leaves were twisting... then the bloomer stuff when pistils started showing.

I'd try what you're thinking, then float the pH to try to keep the plants uploading what they wanted. I think I'd be more worried about too much phosphorus?

ya i here you on that one bro. out side causes too many variables.
the MG-shake and feed bloom seems to be a good NPK 10-16-10. a flowering plant should like that. next grow i will probably just use OC+ depending on how these other grows finish that are using it. i like to see a few grow done before i switch things up like that, so how different strains react to the OC+. so far everything seems great, just waiting to see the end bloom.

but i am digging this food that last for a few months because i am so tired of mixing nutes and dealing with all of that BS. i would love to just have to worry about feeding with PH'ed water.

I think I'm just going OC+ to the end. But I do have a bottle of molasses. God, I hate the smell of it (childhood trauma :)), think it would be a mess in a hempy?

Yeah, but it just gives me more time to create the next problem :tokin:

Hey Irish could you take a quick peek at my last photo in my grow? I decided to mist my babies with a neem oil mix and I hope this is just from over doing it on the misting and my led burning the leaves??? thanks in advance for any help!!

well as a few onf you know a couple of weeks ago i forgot to turn off my room light and when they were sleeping the got the 12hrs of CFL room light. i do this at least 2 times per grow:tokin:

so i bought this to prevent this again. it cost around $10 at home-depot, it just screws into ur light fixture and the bulb screw into it. it will stay on form 15min then auto turn off. i haven't tried it yet but i will keep you posted on it.

Hi bro. Just poking in again. Great convos on the nutes. Trying to get caught up.

BTW on the Scotts. That's what I was using all summer for the plant in the ground. 50% soil from the hole, 50% Scotts long lasting, then a touch of the bloom stuff a few weeks ago. Was working great til I put compost tea from the hydro store. I think they fucked up their batch, cause I've used it before, but this time it fried my plant. It was brown and crispy in like 3 days. But the Scotts had been doing great!

Turn up the heat! Cook em! Cook the hell outa them. J/K. I was thinking about you recently when we had days of over 100 every day for a week. But my outdoor plants didn't bat an eyelash (til I accidentally cooked the one with nutes - my bad). The Utopia Haze is cruising like a mofo outside and I think you might wanna investigate her for your use. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Maybe you should just take the whole bulb out when you are not using it? lol

Sticky notes bro! That's where it's at!

Dude, my 600W plants are loving every minute of their life! I will get an ongoing journal or something maybe...
