Zooie's Secret Closet Soil Grow 2020

Quadding is a method designed by a member here Asesino85 and many growers swear by it.

Quadlining started a couple of years ago when I was trying to come up with a training method to get a good, low, even shape to the plants without slowing them down too much. Fluxing took way too long to perform and Mainlining also took a long time in veg to accomplish. Neither seemed like good fits for what I was trying to achieve. Instead I took a combination of both training methods and made quadlining. I've always said it isn't rocket science and it isn't anything brand new but I've put them together and created a system to allow aggressive growth without slowing the plants down much at all. It redistributes energy to focus on 4 main support branches and tries not to waste energy on things that will not amount to anything in the end. It also achieves a nice, even canopy with good spacing for airflow and light to penetrate decreasing the chance of mold and problems while increasing yield. Keeping them low also allows for growing in tight spaces or with height restrictions like most indoor growing. These were all the goals I wanted to achieve and quadlining does just that.

There's a community thread dedicated to it here:

That looks very interesting, also scary....lol...but will give it a try. :) :green_heart:

Good Morning,Zooie- your ladies are looking great today !

Quadlining is definitely a good way to go- easy to do, and you'll end up with a crazy amount of buds!

Another week or 2 and they should be ready for whatever you decide to do.
Enough time to explore the options....

I'm in 5 gal geopots. I may run into some problems. I will have to keep cloae eye on their watering needs.
If you want a homogenous grow and can afford to, grab some more sevens. If you don't have a problem watching them closely you may be able to get away with some fives. The geopots air prune the roots so being rootbound isn't the concern it is with plastic pots.

It would be better to flower the ones in the five gallons before they are 40 days out. The extra seven gallons sound like the cost effective choice at the moment. If it's between that and building out a closet....

Hi everyone @:420:Trying to stay ahead of this grow if I can. I got 2 Sour D's, 2 Amnesia Haze....maybe when ready up pot to 7 gallon and put my 2 Gelato's in 5 gallon pots? I don't want them to get rootbound:(. I have 5 gallon smart pots, might have to order bigger?
It is very very hard to get rootbound in a smartpot and it is totally possible to get a great harvest in 5 gallon versions... I am doing it right now.

That is good to know, I have 5 gallon smart pots...although they look like 3 gallon to me for some reason. I put one in a 5 gallon plastic pot and it was just a little short from reaching the top of the plastic pot. They were vivosun5 gallon pots. would those work ?

They should work just fine. I am in cheap no name 5 gallon cloth bags right now and the plants are loving it.

Good day to all of you :) It was another watering and feeding this morning. 3g/gal MC and they are just growing like crazy by the day. The growth is truly amazing to me, looks like they are loving the environment and the MC :green_heart:
