Aloha all. Actually @Emilya Green is finishing up a review for PlantCheck now. I will be using the same test kit at the end of the Super Silver Crack grow.

She's got a great write up on it, I am sure once it is posted, you guys will get a fantastic idea of the product and how it's used!

Highya SO, Krissi, guys,

I took down another one today. She had a lot of little patches of budrot, so I have her drying in the cellar. I guess I did a crappy job spraying before. If I left her, she'd get a lot worse. I decided to harvest rather than get all the budrot off from the stepladder. I sprayed the other one real good. Hopefully, almost done with botrytis! Last year I harvested all plants by the middle of October. No snow, no frost. This year I want to go a week later, if the plants are doing alright. Usually don't get frost by then. They'll take a couple degrees freezing, so a light frost will be okay. Just slows things a lot!!
I like the way you have the netting around your ladies. Seems very secure! Hope you're having a great weekend! Happy Smokin'

Well then there goes her surprise! Shhh Hope she doesn't mind breaking it here. Edit: I see she's been by. Thanks for your work Em!

Oh Man! That's the good and bad news I guess. When it starts, the whole plant can get it in no time at all so, it sounds like time came for her. Last year I woke up one day and it tripled!
The netting is my favorite I'm thinking. They'd both be that way but I just couldn't get the second one done.
She mentioned it in her thread so you're good. ;)
That's good. Whew! So now you know :D ! I went to the site and they look like a good test.

Thanks HashGirl! WOW! That's a thousand miles away! Fiona sure does have a reach! I heard it was the biggest storm to hit Nova Scotia in history. How much time do you have for the grow before it frosts? It's October 4th here from the almanac.

Unfortunately, the Raspberry Cough and CB Dutch Treats still have at least another month if not longer. I bought some malted barley powder upon advice from this thread (?). How much should I use per plant?

Wait what? Need details when you can share them!

And in terms of harvest I'd wait until the last possible day, weather-weather-wise.
I'm pretty sure I saw a member is going to review a test kit soon. I'm going out on a ledge and am guessing, assuming, since I've heard of a surprise coming from said member Wed., that may be it. I'm just letting things play out. I very well could be wrong. I don't want to mention fact I think I know because It's a surprise.
I'm interested in a code for a discount if there is one is all. Thursday I'll see if I'm onto something and will mention the kit if the review kicks off on Wednesday. I may be full of bull too. We'll see. Be hopeful!

I'll wait on harvest for sure. Thanks!

FYI - @Plantchek is a sponsor for anyone else who wants to check out their kit.

Oops...I dont think that is her surprise though...maybe it is...idk. what a party proper I am

How much should I use per plant?
Hi HashGirl
I added it to my soil mix and to the outdoor as a top dress using the following from Build a Soil.
"This Organically grown Malted Barley has already been sprouted and the enzymes preserved. Then Crushed to make it easy for us to use in teas.

You can effectively use this to make your own Enzyme Rich Sprouted Seed Tea without all of the hassle of sprouting the seeds yourself. Not only that, but these seeds have been scientifically sprouted to produce the most enzymes possible and the practices used are far superior to the home sprouter.

Directions for use: (Note we are currently experimenting and will update with more info)

1. Topdress plants with 1/8 - 1/4 Cup per plant.

2. Build Soil using this seed meal at 1/2 - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot.

3. Bubble a tea for 4 hours and water with immediately using 1/8th cup per gallon water."

Oh good! Let's going with all publicity is good publicity. I'm excited to see a good test kit! One that i can trust and reaches better limits than the old ones!

WHAT'S HAPPENING BEHIND CLOSED DOORS UPDATE

Good Monday all! I moved the microbe factory back indoors for the warmth it offers. As Bode mentioned there's an aquarium heater in the JMS #2 arrow set to 80f. The #1 arrow is looking at my DIY Bokashi to be ready on Thursday with any luck, and set to dry. Lot's of hope here!

Highya SO,

Great pictures. I love your dedication to organic gardening! High quality organics with microbes will grow some nice buds!! Rain here again. Hopefully no botrytis when it stops! Nice day to relax and smoke!! Happy Smokin'

Hi Bode,
We had some through the night. Clear for the week now I think! I have to check mine now. That bokashi is kind of exciting. This time it didn't get angry and stinky, and didn't bloat the container at all so I think I got it! I'll know when I smell it on Thursday! Should be sweet. I'm off with the scissors in case. Layin around the shanty momma, and get a good buzz on!

Highya SO,

Love that song!! Always brought a smile and started the imagination process! I think I'll check my ladies. I was down there retying to keep better control (now that the bad weather has passed, haha). Should've checked then! Oh well, you know us stoners. Need the exercise anyways! Happy Smokin!

Hi Stone,
I haven't heard that song in forever! I remember when I first picked up the guitar a guy taught me (or tried to) that tune. I only recall the chorus and kinda forgot about it. Just looked it up and am rel-earning it in-between puffs. Sorry to see those darn worms getting anywhere near your girls.
I'm crossing my fingers till harvest. After my outdoor harvest, I'm thinking about popping a high CBD bean. To grow in the tent. The breeder claims 12 to 20 % CBD. Is that good?
Anyway, I hope your day is pleasant and I wish the best for you and yours.
Stay stoneder.

Shlepping and watering my plants are sometimes the only steps I get in a day!
Still good days!

Hey Fred, I first heard it when some friends in a band made it one of their playlist musts. That and Working Class Hero was another of their popular ones from the local VFW touring they did, among other small venues. Early 70's.

I haven't seen too much with worm poop and moths aren't to be seen so maybe it's going to be a good year for that. I'm hoping!

12 to 20 sounds good to me on the cbd plant. You can work with that. Some of our most reached for weed is 8/8 thc/cbd. These Candida are my first almost pure cbd plants.

Have fun playing! Speaking of. What do you think of Hearts intro to Go Crazy on You on acoustic?

Hey Stone, That's good to hear about the dreaded worms. You got me on worm watch now! Picture a stoned af old geezer looking over 12 Sq ft of buds (the greenhouse is getting kinda packed!) in the early morning!
I'll look up the Heart tune. I always liked that intro. I've been laying off my electric (strat) these days.

A friend from work a few years back wanted to get rid of his Martin (I know I got a pic somewhere) so I got something I've always wanted, a really good acoustic and that's always ready to pick up.
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Stay stoneder

My favourite version of Working Class Hero is sung by Marianne Faithful. Have you heard that one?
