Is there something different about the stained one?THANK THE GODDESS (MS OTTER) IT'S FRIDAY UPDATE!
Hi folks, glad to report the start of drought for 3 of my ladies. We're
3 days in with no tells in any way I can see. These 10 gallon pots have a way with holding moisture! I use vermiculite as part of my mix too so that helps retention. The one front right is not getting drought and has some trichs to get properly done for me. She's close I think!
On to "The Unexplained" I've been watching the 4 grow bags and how they are stained or not. One bag is showing a white stain over a good portion of it while the rest show none at all!??! So you all know I lay down ground oyster shell on the bottoms of my pots when I pot them up, so there's white in there. The plant in that particular pot is growing fat soda bottle colas like 1 liter now almost. The three others have standard buds I'm familiar seeing. I wonder if this plant is moving calcium or is asking the micro herd to move it ? Anyone have this happen?
That's the thing. She is a different plant More sativa growing I think. A Skywalker Kush. It's a head scratcher Literally everything else has been the same along the way.Is there something different about the stained one?
Strain? Size ? Roots?
Something is different about her diet?
Hope you have a great weekend Amigo
Stay safe

Your plants are stunning Otter and soda bottle colas are what we all want! This observation about the yellowing tips and the possible connection with too much light is interesting to me as I have had similar, and too much light was a factor I considered. I moved the plants further from the light and their condition has improved. I don't know if it is causal or not.YELLOW TIPS FIX UPDATE
OK NOW! It's been many grows and many other peoples grow as well! I finally came across one opinion out there in the WWW that may make sense and That's TOO MUCH LIGHT! I CAN SEE THE POSSIBILITY Sorry, of this to be true and will be looking to change this next grow! here's the pic from the article from a competitors site that looks just like mine do when it happens on "just the tips"!

Finally the Yellow tips
Thanks Carmen! I've had nice colas of different shapes and densities but these are pretty cool with weeks to go. Small soda bottles but still.Your plants are stunning Otter and soda bottle colas are what we all want! It may be. I'm still trying to not do that for the weeks it takes to recover from the procedure. In the end I may have to. The chiropractor is keeping the hard buildup in the muscle at the base of my skull at bay and I thought that would do it but no.Is it time for the nerve ablation thing again?
Beautifully thirsty plants!
That's good! Stretch is about that I think too hereHighya SO,
We're fine up here. Weather is great! I hear about a drought, and yes, we're dry. My ladies, and the whole garden gets a good dose of water every morning. Seems SSH takes a crazy amount of nitrogen! They're a oretty dark green with no tip burn. Looks like they're close to the 2-3 week stretch!
Sorry to hear about your migraines again! I hope you can find relief somehow! I get headaches sometimes, but ibuprofin takes mine away. I couldn't imagine migraines! must be debilitating. So sorry!
Your ladies are a poster for the most dank buds! They are so gorgeous! Happy Smokin'
Chonkyville is where I want to live! Hi HashGirl!Sorry about your headaches. Your plants look great! Nice big chonky colas.
I didn't drought one Zkittlez as I thought she was going to finish very early but I was wrong. I'm droughting her sister though. Edit: click to expand^^^for the rest.Hi Tim. Zkittles are 49 to 56 days. Skywalker Kush is 63 to 70, and Kosher Kush is supposed to go 56 to 63 days. I start the clock at flip so a week or so early most times vs the sellers. Actually I haven't seen an amber trich yet. All clear and milky as of yesterday.Girls look great!!! Thanks for documenting your drought.
How many weeks of flower does the breeder say for your strains? When do you start your count for flower .....flip day, first pistils, or first budlets?
Looks like all, or most, of your pistils are amber before droughting...is that correct?
