If your just getting your feet wet you may want to try an easier strain. the Hazes are a bitchy, needy bunch. Indica are way more forgiving.

Man, I'm glad Runt is doing so good. I bet you were sweating your Kahonas off after Big girls demise. I'm glad 420ers were able to help you out man. Mostly it was ALL YOU though man. I was wondering, what is the norm for outdoor humidity at your palace? Just a wild thought, but I'm wondering if your going to have problems with such dense buds. I think I know of some fixes if it comes to it, but if your in the land of massive mosquitos, then your probably in the land of massive spores and high humidity too, no?:popcorn:

Hey HS not sure which pics you mean (I most likely missed something) I agree with Jason (below) it is not the easiest plant to grow (only from what I've read). The high is what would attract me though! Sounds terrific.

I gave the Runt a shot of veg nutes and C/Mag two days ago (it poured again all day yesterday). I think she was able to absorb some of it though.. She's continuing to grow, just no normal leaves yet. Thinking about trimming her a bit as she has way too many 'tops' on her now and will end up a tiny bush if I don't eliminate many of them.. Let me know anyone what you think about that. I would leave like three tops and get rid of the rest. This should make it easier for the plant to concentrate on just those tops and not three dozen like it has now.

The humidity is med to high in our area in the summer (35 as a low and 65 as a high with mornings very high from the dew) All in all your right, it is a concern when the 'girls' are flowering. I have had bud rot before and that is a big concern. It depends on how much rain we get into August and Sept. I could put a fan out there and I've got an industrial strength one (fan) that would be perfect.
while it has rained excessively out there lately, it should slack off a bit later in the season.

Hey bud, He won't be coming around here anytime soon! I'm strictly heterosexual no balls allowed! I'm doing a daily inspection now, I put each plant up on the deck railing one at a time and thoroughly inspect. I've got possibly 2 more suspect males so far, not positive yet but starting to look ball-like and not 'pointed' like they should, know what I mean?

NO worries about reps my friend! Thanks anyways. I was concerned also after big girls demise. Though she didn't have a great chance with the weather being so bad at that time. Given the law of averages for male/female ratios, I should have at least 5 or 6 females and that would set me up for a year easy! I won't be growing this winter so the next harvest would be fall 2011! I've done fine with one or two large plants in the past (lasting me that is). So 5 or 6 could give me stuff for a couple of years!

i meant the neveils haze an a1 haze as a strain pick im like kid ina kandy store when it comes to all these seeds yea would but it would be a 12 12 grow so that sould help but u rite they can b picky i seen some biggins b4 think they where thias yea im jus runn stuff pass u i would like to see med man do a nevils haze my next grow is gonna be like a science project breeding an a few diff strain as i need both indica an sativa but im all about taste to so lets see ps ty jason lee for the in put

This is normal for me. Growing outside and making it last (out of necessity) for as long as possible. I've had stuff last a couple of years. Problem is that I get real tired of the same stuff all the time. This will be different as I'll have a better variety (I hope - I should).

I won't be gone, just not growing, I'll be smoking the fruits of my garden and watchin all you folks do the work! I had been contemplating the possibility of a 'short grow', that is if any seeds were to fall into my lap from the sky!...:rasta:..........It would be feasible to start one or two. They'd have all of July, August, Sept. and out by the middle or late Oct. Like doing a 12/12 from seed indoor grow.

Haha HS, I'm trying to understand your 'texting language' so have patience with me as I may not understand it to well! I'm more of a 'traditionalist'!

Let's see, Your gooing to do a 12/12? That's a popular method lately. A number of growers are doing it that way and have had great success and quick turnover by doing that. Good luck!

As far as seed making goes, nah, I've never done it before, intentionally that is, and no patience to do it now.
