WOLFtick3t's Perpetual Auto Tent 2020

I check yours, Turbo

I am mostly keeping this journal for my own purposes. If it helps someone out somehow, great, but I’m not real worried about the readership. I’d like to be more social, but at the moment I’ve got an 8 month old and a business that’s still in the early stages.

Removed the 3 CFL bulbs (295 watts) and installed a third Mars Hydro SP 250 (230 watts) in the tent. So I've cut about 200 watts of draw (allegedly, maybe 250, I don't know exactly what the blurple was pulling) by replacing the indoor blurple and the CFL bulbs and I am much more confident in the SP 250 and TS 1000 compared to the lights they replaced.

I like the 315 CMH fixture fro the young plants on the far left side of the tent, but I am a little worried about the heat during the summer, and I may replace it with another SP 250 or a TSW 2000 at some point.

It's tempting to put a second TS 1000 inside to try and up tent production now that I have better lighting for flowering across more of the tent, but I can't really justify it. I have 9 plants hanging to dry right now and tons of stuff curing. Pushing more out isn't really necessary.

I harvested the three Skittelz plants today. So I have Gen 9, 10 and 11 all hanging up right now. 75, 85 and 95 days to finish and they all were harvested within 5 days of each other. Lots of trimming to do this weekend and early next week.

I also got a small (36x20x64) tent to use for drying going forward, and some buckets to try bud washing. We'll see how that goes.

Going to pop 4 Pineapple Express today and put them right into the tent to get it back up to capacity. I'd like to leave the three Blueberry seedlings indoors for another week or two before they go outside.

Trimmed the three Cream Cookies and got 85g of very good looking stuff, I usually jar all the plants separate but these three were so uniform that I mixed them all together.

Two of the three Pineapple Express are trimmed and there’s 88g so far, I think the third is going to be about 50 grams-ish so that would be far and away my most successful harvest, weight wise. The only problem is that it’s a pain in the ass to trim due to its bud structure.

Three Skittelz still hanging aren’t quite ready to trim, will be in another day or two. And then it’s going to be a month or more until anything else is ready to harvest.

All together from nine plants it looks like I’ll have trimmed probably around 300g in a week :lot-o-toke:

Alright. Been a bit. Crazy busy and just trying to keep the wheels on the road. But some big changes I figured I’d better document.

The tent is coming inside! We cleared out an extra room in the basement and I’ll be moving the tent into the house as soon as tonight. It’s a bunch of work, but there should be significant savings in power thanks to the switch. This also allows me to sell the 315 CMH and replace it with a Mars Hydro TS 1000 that uses half the power.

I am also going to switch from 20/4 to 18/6 and see if it seems to make a difference.

Otherwise pretty unexciting. Just been harvesting and trimming and planting. Will be planing generation 20 this Friday, harvested Generarion 13 and 14 last week.

Chop wood, carry water, as they say.

Generation 20 was to be 1 Canuk Hindu Kush auto, 2 Canuk Cheese auto and 1 unknown Fastbuds auto seed (it fell out of the package and I don't know which strain it is).

Now by what can truly only be called a miracle I have two (2!) seedlings in my Hindu Kush pot. Five total seedlings in four pots.

For a second seed to have germinated in that pot it must be a seed that previously did not germinate when I attempted to. Presumably sorta recently because I can't believe a seed would have survived multiple rotations through the tent without germinating or being destroyed.

Between plantings I thuroughly recondition the pots, mix the soil, break up clumps or remove them from the pot, add new soil, water them at least once, days in advance. So somehow this seed ended up in the right spot with the right amount of water on it to germinate at the exact same time as the other seeds. Mind blown.

By process of elimination it could be an Oasis Blueberry (this is my guess) or maybe a Fastbuds GrapefruitMatic or Pineapple Express.

I've also got my hands on 14 Bloody Skunk Auto from Nirvana Seeds and 10 of my old favourite, White Cheese Auto from Dinafem. My seed bank currently has enough stock to last about 91.3% of a year at current planting rates. 23.75 sets of 4 seeds.

Next up I'll be planting the Bloody Skunk (tomorrow) and then more Skittelz at the end of the month.
