White Widow

ok....I did not expect that. In a new tent in my clean spare bedroom. ...
putting filter over vent opening.
The same thing happened to one of 4 of my white widow babies I figured it out quick because it was literally only one catapiler but it was hardly 6 days old when it attacked so it wasn't looking good for a while but she bounced back pretty quick after I killed it

Don't beat yourself up. No matter what precautions we take Little Fockers will break through our defences.

you would be hard pressed to see this little guy with the naked eye.
Fungus gantt larvae, and here's the result of his actions.

When I dealt with gnats. I let the soil dry out before the next feeding to kill them for a few feedings. Make sure you use yellow sticky traps for the flying gnats. Another method I've read is putting sand on the top layer to keep them from hatching. If you want to use a safe pesticide try "big time exterminator" but only until they are gone . It's pretty much an enzyme cleaner. Safe though wouldn't recommend if it wasn't. If you want to go natural route have you thought of predatory bugs that feed of gnats?

All good advice. I use a product called Dislike.
It's a mix of oils smells lovely. So good in fact I could turn off the carbon scrubber.
It keeps things under control. But hasn't eliminated them completely.:hmmmm:

I ran into this site with loads of traps and lures containing no pesticides the other day and it may be helpful to others.

This section of the site is dedicated to garden pests.

so, a lil stunted but still viable.

Once you set your scrog over the plants you start weaving the branches like weaving a rug. Always directing branches into empty squares in your net. Once 3/4 of the squares are filled let the plant's go vertical for awhile until you flip.
