Are you using 3000k or 4000k for your bulb. I ordered my LEC CMH light today it comes Tom, I got the new sunsystem air cooled one. I am so excited. But I got 4000k bulb for veg and bloom what are you using and are you have with your light and the footprint of her

I'm using the bulb that came with my phantom. I'll let you know which one it is when I get home cuz I forget now. What ever I have that came with it I use for veg and flower. Store I got it from didn't sell me the other bulb. They said it wasn't worth buying as the other bulb was good enough. Said it didn't make enough difference to justify the cost of the bulb.
I figured they was telling the truth since they could have made a sale on the bulb but didn't. Dunno.
 
Ok i getcha - well I've got both bulbs and on advise of grow shop waited til two weeks into flower before changing from veg (blue) to bloom (red)... And when i swapped em over (almost a week ago) i noticed a HUGE difference ...
The light is obviously different - there's a definite red tinge to it ... And the girls love red when it comes to flowering time - there's increased UV output - this can be felt on the skin - my skin prickles when I've been in there for any small amount of time now over say ten mins - time to don arm cover as well as the ski goggles & wide brim hat ... And a few days after changing i noticed trics showing

Which bulb gives off which color? I got 4200k coming in the mail

Ok so I've just checked the boxes for full details

There's the "Color" 3200 (more blue light frequencies) and the "Elite Agro" 4200 (more red light frequencies)

The Color bulb is very close to sunlight and the core of the bulb looks blue when it first fires up - it's designed for veg

The Elite Agro bulb seems to have more UV in and the core of the bulb looks red when it first fires up - it's designed for bloom

I wouldn't recommend looking at either bulb for very long, even with full UV ski goggles on

Last 2 weeks is when they proper blow up they tend to grow little by little.so u dont notice it till there huge

Yep.. your correct. I've seen them plump up quite a bit. Even backbuilding them. There to a point where I'm pretty happy with them. Would love them to fill out a tad more before chop chop but to be honest, I think there looking pretty good.

There doing pretty good. I narrowed them down to 2 plants and got them in 5 gallon fabric pots. Had to down size because of lack of space. Plan is to take a cpl clones off of them before I flower and take the two best. Meanwhile the 2 I have now I plan on vegging some more under the cmh after my babies are done. See how fat I can get em.

I have the Nanalux 630w lec cmh. I'm running one 4200 & one 3100, as this is what the store recommended. I can & will switch bulbs if I find out different. And air cooled is what they should have done from the jump !! Ha !! I been preaching that this light is too hot for a 4x4 room, from the 1st. use of this light. This proves I was right, because why else would Sun build an air cooled one ?? I hope you a lot of luck with it, It's a strong light, just runs too hot to not be air cooled. How did they do it, as I've been told that glass would block the UV spectrum and render it useless ??

With the type of glass they used you lose 3% uv and ir to me thats worth air cooled
