White Widow Fem, Inside 2 Cubic Feet, Soil Under LED

good morning mr.K, so the day finally arrived, wow now it's gonna go stretchtastic I hope buff out a bit on the sides...... and boom you almost ready for next round....lol
Looking very neat and tidy mr.K.....:goodjob:
Hi Smeegol, yeah, stretchtastic it already is :) one long night and the start of the stretch was obvious even for a naked eye.
And yeah, once there are buds in the horizon, 2 months will fly by :)

One of the best looking ones ive ever seen sir o:
Can you tell a bit more about the homemade call-mag?
Cheers!
Thanks bro.
Well it is more home mixed, than homemade :) You just go to a store, buy granulated calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate, dissolve in separate jars 50 g of magnesium sulphate in 200 ml water and 130 g calcium nitrate in 130 ml of water. Then thoroughly stirring combine those two together and keep stirring for a couple more minutes. The solution is going to get all white, like milk. That is gypsum. Let it sit overnight or so, so the gypsum can fall into residue, then filter or siphon the good stuff. Should get around 200 ml of CalMag by siphoning, a bit more if filtering. The dosage of the made solution for soil is between 1 and 2 ml per liter of water. But you can check with TDS meter.
Oh, and if you're gonna try do it, while mixing magnesium sulphate, don't get scared when you see some brown, soap like stuff forming, that's normal, just filter it through a cloth before combining two liquids together.

Looking very nice, it will be interesting to see how much this one stretches for you.
Thanks mate, hope she fills that box nicely this time :) do not see any vigorous stretch just yet. Like an inch onver last week maybe

Can anyone tell me, or know someone who could tell what kind of problem am I looking at here:

I am seeing such leaves here and there. They seem to appear on the same branches.
All the help is highly appreciated.

It's up on top. Might it be light burn? If not, then I would guess either an Mg or K deficiency.
I am sure it is not light burn. Regarding the Mg or K, I feed her 700 ppm of NPK 7:3,5:5 and top it up to 1100 ppm with my homemixed CalMag.
I plan changing to bloom nutes next week.
My nutes are just random flower nutes I could find at local grow store.

Could you post more pics?
Looks like it may be variegration which is a genetic mutation that produces different colors in the leaves.

Here are a couple more leaves I found. Others I ripped off while defoliating :)

I only noticed such discoloration on leaves of two opposite branches during different periods of this entire grow, and it did not seem to react to any feeding/watering/temp changes. And leaves almost 100% of the time were curling (fading) towards the bleached side.

If it doesn’t get worse or starts spreading I’d keep doing what your doing. I don’t think it’s an issue at this point

I wasn't sure if it is an issue, but needed a confirmation from an expert. I hate the looks of those leaves though
Thanks PW for your input. If you could keep an eye here from time to time I'd consider myself lucky :)

It's not just discoloration. There is deformity as well. Have a look at the section on tobacco mosaic virus at Nebula Haze's excellent website.

Thanks for the hint. I read the article, it was a good read, but to be honest I am not impressed. All presumptions, guesses and uncertainties.
Also, looking at the symptoms in the example pictures, though similar but none looked exactly like mine.
If it is a virus, then I presume it should spread across the plant or at least throughout the one leaf. But in my case it is always only one finger of leaf is affected.
I think I will keep an eye, but pretty sure it is not the TMV.
Thanks for pointing me towards a good read anyway :)

In my experience, you seldom get symptoms that are identical to the sample photos, but whatever. And I didn't mean to suggest that the article was the solution, but to suggest an interesting possibility. What caught my eye and interested me is the misshapen leaves. I think that those are saying something, though I don't know what.

And it was interesting. I did not know such disease existed. I just wanted to point that the article did not confirm cannabis can be affected by this virus, just presumed.
And yeah, those leaves indeed are saying something. I'll sterilise the box after this grow as a safety measure.

Edit:

Anyway, @Greg Mendel, you stalker ;) when will I be able to subscribe to your journal? :) Growing anything atm?
