Wheelo's 3rd run - Attack of the Holy Shoots

man i love that show. . .

i just wish they still had a larger element about growing/selling weed. and I wish doug didn't turn into such a retard. and i wish conrad was still in the show and growing.

about the supersoil, i guess the real proof will be in the end. they are doing awesome right now but flowering is always more intense. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it's this easy... it seems this easy.

yup i agree andy, and thanks.

nobody in real life would act the way the make doug act, he shoots himself in the foot every chance he gets, and does it so retarded, i just roll my eyes, like just because you smoke weed a lot, you don't turn into a compete moron.

i haven't seen the last few episodes. you should do that for your bro and catch him up if he cares.

also, i'll take pics when i finish the screen, hopefully today

Hey WOF, did you ever get a chance to check out our Weeds Contest Thread?

Contes is over now, but Rob was very involved with building their dispensary set - we've got a lot of High Rez pictures of the set.

ok i took some pics so i'll update.

almost 4am and i'm still up. bad news when im on a regular schedule. anyways. . .

i told you guys i did a major change in the tent. so here we go

i took the AC out and closed the window. now i am cooling the tent by air exchange only. i have both of my inline fans blowing out of the tent and i am pulling air in through the bottom louvers.

i had to move the outlets, timers, ballast and fan to the middle where there is a small "walkway" big enough for me to get in there. The flowmaster is how i am feeding the dirty girls. its 2 gal, and right now when i water them it takes about 2/3 gal each for them to leak out of the bottom. I still need to put them on risers.

here is the new res. when i get a chiller it will be more effective. it sits about 71-72 right now.

in this one you can see that i moved the bypass out of the tank so i can cut off the valve and "stir" the tank whenever i want to, or when i'm mixing the res.

the wheel, slow but steady, when i tied them i used a slip knot and then pulled them tight. duh, needless to say the string i used to lst them were strangling all of them. i just cut them all free, i will get something better tomorro and lst them again with something that won't f' them up. damn it, always something.

ok, and finally, what i've been working on all night, the screen!

like i said i cut out the screen to make 1" holes into 2" holes. that was a lot of work. it took the better part of 3 hours. but it will be worth it later i think:

one last shot of the mom before the screen goes up:

the screen, here is one without flash.

here is one under the flash.

there is a lot of real estate here, just over 10 square feet, i hope to fill it all.

10-4-05.JPG

thanks ss, yeah considering 4 cuts per square, about 400 squares, means 1600 snips. took a long time. i cant wait to fill it either, but it might be a while.

andy, i mean its just pvc so i could just swap out pieces if i had to change it, but its not adjustable other than that. what would the benefit of it being adjustable do for me?

right now the screen is 27 inches off the ground. the dirt bags are about 10" tall, and the plants are about 8"-10" except the mom whos is about 14", so the mom is only a couple inches away from the screen but the rest are still 7-10" away. however I have not raised them up off the ground yet to keep them out of any runoff, so that could add 2-6" depending on what i can scrounge up. that would put them right up by the screen except the mom who would have to be trained under the screen in order to be raised that much.

Hey WOF! I saw in one of your messages you said it feels like it is taking forever to get to flower - I AGREE for me too!!! But it looks like we are both getting close now! Your plants under the screen look real good and healthy and it looks like you are prepared for your ScrOG! :goodjob: I'll keep watchin'!

Yet another journal I am inexplicably not subscribed! Wow WoF, all that cutting did look like a lot of work but I must agree that it will have been worth it. I will soon discover the horror of using a 1 inch hole sized screen.

i just thought you hated me munki. :(

lol JK! yeah, plus yours is metal so you'll need snips. . . lol, when i went to home depot i looked all over for anything 2"-3", but the only thing that big was chain link fence. i kept eyeing up the 1" chicken wire and thinking of your screen like, it looks so easy to put in. . . but gotta get something 2" or bigger.

:thanks::thanks::thanks: i think it will turn out well in the end. . . your grow def influenced my own.

I just boosted the plants up, moved the light up a bit, and got some new equipment which was badly needed. every time i add something to my grow i wonder how i went without it before. lol. pics in a bit.

ok, so i am continually upgrading equipment in my quest to control the environment.

this piece was long overdue, and i hop it makes a positive impact

here she is:
