WheelOFortune's - first turn

CM,

one thing, i don't think a fogger will be useful for this system. if you found a way to enclose the root space, kept it dark, ans fogged, i guess the roots could grow out of the RW, but i think you'd be asking for a mess if they did. the 3" RW is sufficient for any size plant that can go in the wheel, i think.

roots growth are directly controlled by gravity. i think if the clones are not rooted yet, they might not root at all. this is just a guess though, so try it out and lets us know.

Thanks CanbisMxmus, and the best to you as well. Looking forward to having more company here.

Cheers,

Alright gentlemen, good points all around. It all comes down to judgement. I've been accused of having poor judgement, but I am a risk taker. Without risk, there is no reward. What sweeter fruit is there than the forbidden? Ask yourself this, how is my karma? I didn't start this to get rich, I started it out of need. I like bud, the economy is horrible, jobs are rare where I am (that pay enough), and I can actually help those in need (not just myself). I consider myself a responsible grower of high quality medicinal marijuana. I keep prices low to combat black market importation, make availability to those financially challenged (people who truly need it rarely have the money for it), and of course lots more of that awesome karma.

With that said, my VG is assembled, I have everything necessary, and am ready to grow.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to start clippings (no roots) in the VG? I am going to attempt it. I used an aeroponic machine outdoors with fantastic results against much critisizm and surprise. I didn't know I it was not recommended, and so I did it and succeeded. I continue with my "ignorance is bliss" growing methods and try not to do stupid things while not narrowing my mind with "knowledge". If it doesn't work, oh well, but I bet it does. I have a fogger I intend to utilize with the wheel. I guess this means I'll have to start my own journal. Best of luck Maxx, and W.O.F., consider yourself inspiration for the rest of us. I will do my best to do the same.

ever vigilant mods like soniq, always on his game cleaning up the threads make this one of the nicest forums to read. (whenever hot heads prevail)
things said in the heat of the moment disappear into the past in conversation, they sit and fester in a forum. deleting them makes it easier for those who are nice to control the conversation.

This is by far the best run forum that I have been to, and it definitely has my loyalty.

that's also why the saying that stoners grow better weed than those with only money in mind because stoners want the weed that gets you high as the sky and don't care about how it looks or how heavy the buds are they just want weed

Okay, W.O.F. and anyone else intersted, I started my journal today. It's my first, bare with me. I've entitled it Volks Grow. I am somewhat scatterbrained so there may be a few things I leave out, but I welcome any questions. I'm excited, it's almost like going out on a first date, butterflies of anticipation! Off to work!!! :peace:

its a long road to hoe CMX, don't let the butterface, i mean butterflies make you impatient.

I blew the start of a good relationship that way before. over excited. lol.

i will look for it now.

whenever someone make a claim - any claim - as a scientist i have been taught to ask myself "is this plausible?". Then i gather all available data and make a decision as to what i think the "Truth" is or whats most likely to be right. but a true scientist has no loyalty to an idea or system or method. a true scientist has loyalty to the truth no matter what. for instance if everyone thinks that the world is flat, and i have overwhelming evidence that it is round, i don't care if i get excommunicated, i have to believe the evidence. if every backwoods conservative in the world tried to tell me evolution isn't real and adam and eve were the first humans, i would ask the scientific credo, "where is the proof?"

The more we can have the dispassionate scientific method in our world, the less irrational life will be; I'm in complete agreement.

i think it's the Star Trek in me. hoping for an evolved society.

But like a friend told me before, the transporter is a more likely invention than an evolved peaceful society.

prob true unfortunately. dumb people have no choice but to act on emotion. its all they know.

update:

here are the 3 lowryder fems that made it to the end. they are seeded nicely. esp the big ones. the others were male and i killed them today. they served their purpose and i have my personal seed bank starting. including feminized SC seeds from my old system.

here is the second sample i took. I took the smallest plant in the wheel, so i could get a lower limit to yeild. its been drying 5 days now so its almost done. i will give you a weight in a few days. this should represent the lowest yielding plant this turn.
