ok. ok. ok.
everything is dry except my eyes. lol.
this harvest is one of my most disappointing harvests ever.
my dry wt. is worse than my lowest expectations by far.
other growers might be inclined to pump up their numbers to sound like they did better, but thats not my style. A good scientist is loyal to the truth no matter how bad the data is.
two things first-
1) i don't blame the volks
2) i don't blame my self either.
why my harvest is so low is because of the genetics of the SC. it was old and stressed out, and was grown from a seed that i made from light poisoning method of feminizing seeds. Also the clones i took were weak, taking more than a month to show roots.
The HS is another story, and is what is keeping my confidence up.
i miscounted in the beginning the number of each i had in the wheel, but it was easy to tell the difference in smell and looks at harvest.
i had 57 strawberry cough that yielded a dismal 58 grams dry.
the holy shit however, I had 14 plants that yielded 45.8 grams dry.
thats about 1g/plant for the SC and over 3g/plant for the HS.
if i only grew HS, my first run wouldn't have been bad, 80 plants at 3g/plant would have yielded over 1/2 lb. but like every other journal i read, i was not ready for the number of clones i needed to fill the wheel, so i did what i could to fill it quick.
oh well. now you all know what a bad harvest looks like in the wheel, and should have a lower limit to what you can expect to pull out of a wheel if you do a poor job, or have poor genetics.
the smoke is awesome still, however, and i do have a 1/4 lb. to last me the 10-12 weeks before i'll have more. unfortunately now i will have to be stingy with friends, and keep all of it for myself. . . good thing my boy the baker has a lagre quantity on the way to supplement what i can't give to my friends. I helped him harvest last wed.
anyways. . . that should just about wrap this grow up. . . thank god, and good riddence. lol. I have new seeds, new genes, and new plans to worry about now. . . but it will still be weeks before i even think about puttin more plants in the wheel.
thank you everyone for your help and support,
thanks PAN, MAXX, SONIQ, and everyone else who posted on this journal.
I'll still be around, but in a week or two this journal should go to completed status.
I will post curing pics if i get a chance.
thanks again
WOF.
