What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Maybe I should have left a message but was headed toward home, you were an hour north so when you didn't answer I put that ole truck southbound........ Looks like you may be playing in the snow this weekend...... good luck , imo it's nice the first day and sucks shortly after..... The "Five" look a whole lot better than they did when I visited... I plan on flipping mine today ....... :peace: my friend, I'll be in touch......

Thanks for the comments. Plants do indeed look a little more like cannabis produce and like Penny said, if the flowers turn out nice it's all good.

I feel like I'm behind a bit on some feed so The Five got some cal mag and Fox Farm's Big Bloom. I know some will disagree but I like poop from worms and birds and I already have the bottles. The clones got some fish ferts since they'll benefit from the Nitrogen. Only a couple look good but they're still just gripping the soil. They'll come alive before Christmas.

This Chem91 cross did not have roots showing when I sunk the peat pellet into one of these six inch pots but I find it hard to believe it didn't root. There looks to be some white mold on a soil level branch that I've treated once with H2O2. I'll treat again this week or just trim it away if it becomes healthy enough.

Bloom Room. They're trying to find their way into flower. Stretch is minimal so far and I'm hoping the feeding will get them to jump here soon. Organic gardening makes for a little wait at times.

Time to smoke another bowl and take in a basketball game. :bongrip:

Chemdawg.. FTW

Clones even have that re-veg look to them.

Don't worry about the weird looking leaf patterns. They will figure out what to do. Just give em same lighting and baby em a little bit, they've had a rough ride.

Keep eyes peeled for nanners. Can pluck them and wait and see. Some folks see one and panic. The stress of the cold then the re-veg stress, either by itself is enough for nanners.

I've got a plant now that was all single leaves all the way thru 130 days now and she's still chugging along, smallish plant gonna be a big yielder.

We just never know.

How's your shoulder doing??

They look awesome!
Thank you AB. I hope all is well with you
It's good to see you Mr. Am4zin....
You have some really sweet genetics going, me likey! :slide:
I don't have a memory like yours so I have to go back to my notes at times. Yes I'm growing some things that I wanted to grow (and smoke). I'll bring back all the details here soon.

I smoke everything in the house but Chemdawg from my first grow of those beans from HSO is my personal favorite. It's supposed to come from a cross of an elite Chem 91 clone. I regret that I didn't clone that first one but have high hopes that this one will be just as stony.

Cuts were taken soon after I got them in the back in the house. The light change to flower was already in progress. The great thing about the plant is that each cell contains the plant's DNA so the construction plans are in place. As annual plants, the grower just controls the light. I'll have to come see your plant. Mine broke out in cannabis looking leaves this morning.

Yep....I've thought about how badly these have been stressed. I'll keep a close eye on them for nanners but I think they were ok through their critical veg weeks. IIRC that's weeks 3 through 5 but I could be totally wrong there or it could be someone else's BS that stuck in my old mind. Either way...I'll watch closely.

Shoulder is still bad but healing. I'll send you a PM.

I like some of those strains you have going nice glad to see you back in the game!:goodjob:
Hi Sticky....Thanks man. It's got my grow juices flowing.
Damn it Jim, I don't know what I was a thinking, I should have gotten one of your clones ........ Maybe I can get back your way this month, IDK for sure. I'l let you know....... ....:peace:
Any time brother.....always a pleasure to see you. I'm not sure if any of the cuts had rooted when you were here but I have them now.

So here's what excited me this morning. I fed yesterday and it seems that the girls are finally growing some normal looking leaves. It also snowed here overnight but as long as I have power I'm good with the snow.

Have a great day folks. Sooner or later I'll be out playing in the snow. :bongrip:

The Five continue to grow through the re-veg that I put them through. I wish it had not been necessary as this new growth is beautiful stuff. Chemdawg, Chem 91 x ADC and Sour Angel were first with new pistils around 10 days after flip to 12/12. It's It Punch and Royal Gorilla came right after that at 12 days. I sure hope for a bit more stretch but I also have these 2 gallon softies which serve to be the limiting factor here. Gnats were crawling yesterday at the top of the soil so they were topped with crumbled mosquito dunks and sprayed that with a horsetail fern tea. Then all were sprayed with insecticidal soap. The mosquito dunks contain BTI which kills the larvae. The adults will be killed with something I have around here.

Spotlight on Royal Gorilla From Royal Queen Seeds. It seems the breeders were Josey Whales and Lone Watty (Think original Gorilla Glue) and this hybrid was an accidental cross of Chem Sis and Sour Dubb. It appears that Chocolate Diesel was eventually bred into the mix to be a balanced sativa/indica hybrid and this Cup winner has sported some THC levels up to 30%. It's advertised at 27% so if this plant performs I think I'll be spending some time with this one for all the pains I've managed to acquire. I bought this on the comments of @Jgrowlove, @SweetSue and others. I've read it was a connoisseur favorite. Well that's the hype I find on the internet. A real test drive will be a couple months in my future.

Here's the rest of the girls from pictures taken yesterday or this morning:

Have a great day folks. Sun is shining here. :bongrip:
