What's In Jim's Grow Room?

:welcome: all.

I plan on maintaining a perpetual grow. For now we have Blue Dream clones and I'll be creating fem seeds using silver thiosulfate (STS)

I'm getting better at keeping clones alive and I have 8 Blue Dream clones that are strong and healthy and I intend to grow them out in 1 gallon plastic pots. One of these girls will have a trans sexual experience using silver thiosulfate. A number of people on these threads have done this and I'll prop Heirloom and Nismo12 for valuable instructions.

The Blue Dream is bred by HSO and I'll likely give the seeds away. I'll freeze whatever pollen not used to cross some other strains later. I grew the mother out last year and she quickly became one of my favorite strains. Chemdawg is my favorite right now so my loyalty gets tugged around as I continue to grow different things.

I crossed BD and a friend's Fast and Vast x Master Kush last year and I have about 40 of those beans which I should grow. She might be a winner and I won't know without the grow.

Soil is third generation recycled soil which started as Baccto Professional Grower's Mix and some Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Anyway I took about 40 gallons of previously used soil. I added 4 pints of KIS Organics Nutrient Pack, 30 lbs EWC, a cup of Azamite and a cup of Mycos. I've mixed and mixed this soil since January and I'm only using 8 or so gallons.

The girls went into my 4 x 4 tent yesterday on a 12/12 light schedule using a Mars Hydro Mars II 900. It operates inexpensively and does a reasonably good job. I usually get a fair yield but I may push the nutes on the sensimilia plants. I do also intend to provide this bunch a foliar feeding weekly or so. Fox Farms trio will form the basis of the nutrients. So far they've had water only.

OK...so you came for pictures. These girls got off to a rocky start.

Only 2 of these made it so I'm batting .800 from the 10 cuts.

Early life. They do so much better after the roots grip the soil.

If you have comments or questions, let 'em rip. How they produce leaves and flowers is still quite a mystery for me. Something about photosynthesis, cation exchange, gland production and stuff.

I just try to keep them alive with good water and good environment.

Nice, I'll watch! If you have extras, I am there for you Brother! I have had amazing luck with clones, Jack Herrer and Durban Poison if ya like Sativa's.

I've been using this led chicken brooder. It made for newborn chicks but works great for keeping seeds warm. I do paper towels between small glass plates under it. Keeps them little warmer than the room. Height adjustable too

My plates have been sitting on the tv box. It worked well for the Garlic Sherbert seed and the Ciskei x PV. And I have a seed mat rolled up in the drawer. I have temperature control for that one and I think I remember that 82 degrees F was the optimum temp for that thing. Anyway, I'm not going to be concerned but thanks anyway for the ideas

First frost day here. I'm still having to run my air conditioner in the late afternoon. The bloom tent is filled with stank. It is sickening almost. Fresh vomit comes close and it's coming from the Carnival. The Chem cross is more sweet mint right now which is kind of refreshing compared to that stink.

I had the Sour Angel out of the tent yesterday. I'm still trying to clean her up a bit for her last journey and she's just an ugly old hag as she's just been sitting around for years essentially being mistreated by the grower through inconsistent watering and few feedings. Such is the life of an annual plant that is kept growing for more than a season.

TK 91 is just starting to generate some pistils and I think she's about 10 days. I'll have to find that date that I moved those over.

Anyway...Enjoy your day. I have dentist and doctor appointment today so there's that...It didn't keep me from my wake n bake with Jellium this morning. :bongrip:

Thanks fellas.

Sounds like my cookies n chem.
That TK 91 is quite a charmer. Everyone who tried it gave up the kind of feedback any grower would love. I had to put the jar up. Cannarado hit this one out of the park. I'm proud to have his cut.

I bet Cookies n Chem is a great one.

When I get a new one that really impresses me I wonder if it's THE ONE that stands the test of many years and then I know someone put together a really nice Chem parent with a really nice whatever parent and all I have to do is get the thing to harvest. Then it's a proper dry and cure and enjoy.

I have one bean of the Boss Hogg which is bred by Cali Connection and is a select Chem 4 in-cross. @Kismet had great things to say about the Chem 4 he's been enjoying. There might be a new chapter in my search.

Thanks for the comments. It was feeding day for the two newest entrants to the bloom tent. They got a Fox Farm flower week 3 treatment since those are growing in that weak soil. One of the jugs is not organic but I'm not going to feel guilty about that as I want the flowers to develop and early is good in my opinion.

Sour Angel and TK 91

The two girls who have been in here for several weeks are getting Budswel once a week but straight water most of the time. After their next dosing of the bat crap they'll go on a straight water diet until their life ends. Pistils are beginning to fade and I'll start looking at the trichomes in about a week.

Chem 91 x Aliendog Cherry

Carnival

I started my day with the last bud I own of the Garlic Sherbert sample that I had. :bongrip:

Have you tried the Chem 91 x Aliendog Cherry?
One of my favorites. Standard Chem with a little extra kick. Smell of cherry in the jar.

Girls are looking great Jim. Hope you have a great weekend bud! :passitleft:
Thanks Van.....looks like your indoor crop is going to be sweet too.
