What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Thanks fellas. My next adventure is the Garlic Sherbert bred by In House Genetics from an S1 seed developed by @beez0404 . The seed spent one night in pill bottle of water and one night in a wet paper towel blanket between two plates sitting on one of tv boxes. She's a vigorous little thing giving me that tail so quickly.

Here's what she looked like before I dropped her in a small pot of a brand new batch of soil I've been cooking for a month or so.

Now I've spent some time with Beez and his tents. He runs a sweet operation and we've made a bunch of swaps in the past 2 years. Here's a pic of his GS as of yesterday. I have a few buds from one of his grows. It's another one from that sweet spot IHG seems to thrive in.

Cheers. Windy here from the remnants of Hurricane Zeta. Well....I no longer have a preview button so here goes.
Jim,

Garlic Sherbert? Please describe this for me if you know

I'm sure there might be something better but seeing a new plant pop from the soil has done it for me again. I also get a thrill out of knowing that this particular cross probably hasn't ever been produced before. It's just not likely that anyone has brought together a South African landrace sativa and a 100% indica from Pakistan.

It addition to that, the pollen for the dad was collected by a friend in Italy and provided to me by a friend on the west coast of the United States. Now that I have all the geographic details out of the way, let me introduce:

Ciskei x Pakistan Valley

She's an interesting, lighter green and is already developing her first set of true leaves and sprung from the pot last night/early morning. I had thought she was going to be up yesterday but I had planted the seed about 3/8 inch deeper than I normally plant because I didn't want to have to remove its helmet. That little extra depth creates enough friction to do just that and she seems to have the vigor that one expects from f1 seeds. Now to see how this progeny grows out.

Happy Veterans Day! If you served for your country I thank you. I'll even smoke a bowl for you today. :bongrip:
Wow Jim that sounds like an awesome cross. Tw Big hitters. Should be a winner

It's a bit of a creeper and these S1 seeds were produced by my friend @beez0404 who lives in the western part of NC. We met a couple years ago and swap genetics. He either called or texted one day and told me he had grown this thing and a tester friend that he's known for years told him that this was the best he's smoked. Ever

So yes he sent me the pics and I committed to grow it.

I'm a Chem lover and haven't turned my affections from her although I enjoy variety.

When I got the seeds I also got 4 very nice hard buds for sampling. That was a few weeks ago and I shared a bud and a couple seeds with a friend. I have 2 nice buds left so for me a little goes a long way.

Now, know that each individual can be affected quite differently by cannabis depending upon lots of factors such as delivery system, tolerance levels, experience and bodily receptors.

Garlic Sherbert is very similar to a Chem high but creeps a bit in the beginning. If you're like me a creeper just means that I'm overloaded when it kicks in. It's not a complete head and it has some nice body relief. I have found that I should not drive when sampling GS. That's about all I can tell you. In the jar I get only a skunky scent but I've nearly lost my sense of smell and taste.

Plus....it's a nice looking lady:

The reason for my ask, is my wife loves garlic and weed and if I can combine the two I am a king.

If it smells like garlic, I need to get some of those seeds!!!!!

TK91 Smoke Report

My young waitress friend that I give some herb to occasionally reported back on the TK 91 buds that I gave her a couple of weeks ago. I didn't tell her what it was just referred to it as a west coast strain.

When I saw her today she said "I really liked that one a bunch. It's some of the best I ever had."

Except for the Amherst Sour Diesel and Blue Dream that I've given her in the past, this was the first time she's given me some feedback on the produce. It made my day.

I love the taste, it’s like paint thinner. The high hits really fast in the head. I like it, she’s a keeper in my mind.
Yep...that's why I'm running her again. Maybe I should whip up some STS and see if I can reverse her for some S1 seeds.

i love the taste jim and its what i call insta high hits you quick thats a good one!

Yeah....I've been smoking on the TK 91 for a couple days here. She's exactly like Penny said....the nose is just like paint thinner and I've found the head is very relaxing and lasts for a good while so there's that. Man did we get two days of almost solid rain. 3.4 inches Wednesday and 2.5 inches yesterday. The National Weather service gave me two alarms yesterday for flooding. Charlotte had a lot of flooding too but a different part of the state.

My lazy ass still hasn't done much in the overflow tent. I've got 2 Jellium and 2 Black Cherry Punch moms/clones in there that need to have the tops cut off and I just keep avoiding that job. They're all root bound and I should trim the roots and give them some new soil. Oh well...Maybe I'll get some breakfast and tackle that job today.

Have a great day folks. :bongrip:

Isn't it funny how when you probably got into it, it was for the love of your own stash.... making sure every plants was meticulously cared for and now its meh.. ill get to it when I get to it.. LOL ....

The luxury of being a successful farmer... I hope to achieve that status one day! :Namaste::bongrip:

I get so tickled when I think that @katsubluebird and I both had Phototrons. I never had a single harvest and gave the thing away to a guy I knew who could help me get weed. He said he could get the thing to work. Personally, I thought the thing was just plain dangerous from an electrical POV.

But I also didn't know a thing about growing. But I was determined 5 years ago I wasn't going to spend more money on weed purchases. I don't grow that well but I'm proud to have always gotten a crop. Even that first plant gave me enough to get to the second crop and I haven't looked back.

About this successful farmer business of which you speak.....If I grew buds like yours I'd photograph them under some natural light and prop them up at The Bud Porn Page . This is a stand out in my mind GD.

Jim your last crop was the shit!
Music to my ears bud. I've gotten all sorts of good comments about the TK 91 and that Carnival that I only got a small taste of. It wasn't the greatest grow but the produce was super good.

I'm glad I got to pass some buds to you.
